A new beginning

I just got a job as an assistant sales rep and since the twins are are bit grown now I think I could stop living off my parents money and actually get at least an eight to four job during the twins school hours.
My parents where a bit sad that we where moving they kept saying we didn't have to move that they where not complaining but I had already made mind up. I had gotten an apartment nothing too fancy but it will do and I even found a school for the twins so today is Saturday and we are moving because I start on Monday.
"Mom do we really have to move I don't want to leave grandma and grandpa" Anne said. Her cute little eyes could just make me unpack everything and stay but it wasn't that simple ever since Simon left I always felt like a burden to my parent and now I have a chance not to be.
"Yh Mom I'm going to miss all my friends" Chris said.
"I'll miss everyone too but you know mummy's got a new job and we can't stay but I promise we'll visit regularly okay?".
I said trying to sound excited. Just then my mum and dad came out I knew they where going to miss the twins so I let them have their moment and after all the hugs and kisses we where off so that we could settle in early. After about 15minutes of arguing from the twins they finally fell asleep. Now I was left in to myself lost in  thoughts.

"Simon,simon " I called when I got to his apartment I was so happy coming from the hospital when the Doctor said I was three weeks pregnant.
" hey what is it" the irritation was clear on his face but I chose to ignore it since I thought he would be happy with the news
" I'm pregnant" I went straight for the kill.  I could see shock all over his face but he quickly masked it. " and who is the father " now I was the shocked one" you of course who else" then he began to laugh and I definitely didn't expect what I heard next. " we both know that can never be my baby so you better go and look for the father" he said " what are you talking about you are the only one I've been with"
" I think we both know that's not"  my thoughts where interrupted by my phone and I knew that would wake Anne she is just a light sleeper just like me it was Maya calling she is actually the one who got me this job she works there and when there was an opening she told me immediately so I really have a lot to thank her for considering the pay is quite good. " Hi Alex " she said in her squeaky voice "Hey"

"So where are you you know you start on Monday morning"

" yes I'm about 30minutes away I'll call you when I get there"

" okay say hi to the twins for me"

"Sure". After the call I heard a sleepy voice say "Mom I'm hungry "

" I packed some sandwiches for you and you sister you can have some we are almost there anyway"
"Okay thanks"
