Demon Child

I was walking down the hall way during my third period class; I was on my way to meet up with Kathy by her locker when I heard a voice. At first I couldn't understand it, unless it was saying 'gaglo smila', but I don't think that was it. The voice stopped but a noise came from the same direction, so I followed. I stopped at the janitor's closet where the noise got louder then stopped as my hand reached for the door. The door suddenly creaked open without me touching, I know I should be freaked out but I was just curious at the moment. I slowly walked in and heard a noise from the corner; it was a little boy crying. "Are you all right?" I asked quietly. Once I spoke the crying stop and he turned toward me and stared right into my eyes. His cold pure black eyes sent chills up and down my back. I tried to look away but for some odd reason I couldn't move. His mouth opened and a terrifying noise flowed from his parted lips. The sound pierced my ears and set my eyes free, but I still couldn't move. I noticed for the first time that tears of blood ran down his eyes, nose, and mouth. His hands where filled with cuts, and blood. This seemed to wake up my body.

I turned to run out but just as I got to the door Kathy burst in. "what the hell, why were you screaming?" I turned around but the little demon child was gone, "w-w-what scre-e-eaming? I wasn't screaming." "Uhem! Ya you where. What the hell Sara! I was walking down the hall looking for you when I heard you screaming from in here! And what in the world were you doing in here anyway?" I stared at Kathy I knew she wasn't mad that I was late no I knew her to well. I knew that she was worried about me and wondering what happened. So I better say something, "oh I um just got a little spooked in here..." I glanced at the corner once more but it still wasn't there and I wasn't going to wait for it. "sorry Kathy, I don't know why I came in here I... I heard a noise I guess." "what ever Sara lets just get out of here." There was no way I was going to argue, but as I closed the door the little boy was standing in the middle of the room, blood dripping from his face, hair, and hands. I slammed the door shut, and told Kathy to run.

When I finally stopped running Kathy was right behind me. "what - the - hell!" she said between breaths of air. "I... I thought we were late for class..." "seriously Sara? When do you care about being late." I guess she noticed the look of fear still plastered on my face because her tone changed immediately, "well lets go to class. Hey maybe you can come to my house after school we can chill till your parents come home. I can even drop you off!" she ended the sentence in a cheery tone even though I could see the concern in her eyes. I was so glad that she was my friend. "Thanks Kath" Was all I said and we both began to smile and walk off to fourth period.
