The dark side

Germany had sworn never to let him take control ever again. He had sworn. But it seemed like many of his promises were about to be broken.

The monster the dark the evil had taken control of him. Twice. And Twice had he caused irreparable damage that made everyone fear him. Scared of him. A monster of him.

He remembered the first time the voice had taken him. Whispering about power and safety for him. That was what it promised but not what it gave.

Gunfire, death, blood, loss, evil. That was what it had given. It made him wear black and the symbol of its undying darkness.

It had made his hand kill millions. Innocents. He could still hear the echoes of begging for mercy of screaming. The high shrieked painful screams as the bodies fell down blackened and bloody.

But the worst part was that , that part of him enjoyed watching people scream for mercy and then him giving the little bit of hope just si he could rip it away.

The faces of children. Children. Would haunt the sane side of him forever. A little girl with the pink scarf looking up at him clutching her small broken bear. Asking when her mother was going to wake up. And then smiling and saying that soon she'd be with her, the girl had smiled at him big toothy grin. That was mean he had put the bullet through her small innocent head.

He had only gained control when it was too late. The darker side of him battling the real him and finally him winning. Changing back to himself.

But the damage was still there. And nothing would ever change it. And that little girl would haunt his mind forever.

The second time it had happened it had happened out of selfishness. He had been dying and he heard a voice asking if he wanted to live.

He had agreed thinking that it was someone else. He had survived but he came out different. And the monster took over once again. Making him commit a million more deaths and heartbreak.

But it was worse this time. The monster ha more power and had learned. Had learned how to make everything even worse.

He hadn't shown himself even though everyone knew what had happened. He had let it take over without a fight knowing that eventually he would die. But what finally stopped him from giving up was the innocent.

He wanted power over everything it was a craving that needed to be satisfied. He was a devil. No.

He was the devil.

Every time he killed someone he felt the power over wash him and made him smile in glee. He enjoyed it.

No the monster did.

But the monster was powerful and sprung fear into everyone.

The monster hated everyone except for one person.

One person in the world had not only captured the heart of the real person but also captured the monster.

Because even though a monster is a monster. You don't know anything if you think that monsters don't get lonely or care for someone.

No one was scared of the real person for they all knew what hard struggle he had to keep the evil inside him. And to be honest he was actually a really nice man. The reason people stayed away was because they were scared that if they got close the monster would target them.

All but one.

One had still acted friendly still had gone out with him. Held him when he cried held him when his monster cried.

And that one had gotten the monsters promise.

The promise of protection.

It was rare for a monster to fall in love but if it happened that person was the most protected person in the world. Because a strong monster would protect it till the death.

But was truly amazing and had never happened before was that the person loved the monster back. He loved the person and he didn't like what the monster had done but even in the midst of all the evil this one person loved the monster.

Now the person watched frozen broken, injured, dying. As that person was about to be killed and he heard the voice.

You can save him. You promised. We promised to protect him. Just say it

The man knew that he would give anything to save that person even himself and everyone else. So taking a gulp he nodded.

"Come out."
