BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! The sound of my alarm clock got me annoyed. After five more "BEEP"s , I turned it off and got on my phone. There was a reminder that said, " Back to hell". Winter break was over, and I didn't want to go back to school. Let me tell you what happened.
My name is Rose Anderson, I'm 13 years old, and I'm in 8th grade. I wouldn't really consider myself "popular", after a incident that happened 2 months ago.
It was at lunch, and my crush, Dave, finally asked me out. He asked me out to the movies. However when I got there, Dave wasn't there. I watched the movie by myself after waiting 30 minutes for Dave. After the movie, I went straight home and cried for the rest of that day. The next day, Dave walked up to me and said, " Sorry Rose, when I asked you out, it was a dare." I froze in fear as I realized my life was ruined.
While I was in my thoughts, my mom called out "Rose, are you awake?" I shouted back "Yeah, I'll be there in a minute!" I went on my phone again and texted my friends in a group chat. It my friends: Abby, José, Alex, and me.

I thought they weren't going to answer, because it was 5:32 a.m. However, everyone was awake.

Me: it's back to hell today :(

José: it's a fresh year so a fresh start
