Finding Me

Their shadows are like wild animals roaming the streets without knowing where to go.
It's beautiful, but scary!
Wondering which way to go I asked my comrades,"How will we escape?" I already knew the answer, but I still wanted to hear it from someone else.

"There is no escaping us..." I heard from behind me! Suddenly, out of nowhere smoke bombs surrounded the whole block. Or at least we thought they were smoke bombs. Two people were walking towards us, they were wearing gas masks so that they wouldn't breathe in the smoke.
I looked around to see my friends and saw that they were falling to the ground. Everyone fell to the ground quickly except my sister Avery, and I. Then I saw someone walk up to my sister and pull her out of the smoke,"Avery!" I whimpered in fear. I was alone! My body felt heavy and my hands ached. I look down at my hands and they were shaking, waves of air were pushing through my body out my arms making the ground vibrate. It was causing me pain so I tried to stop, but I couldn't!
Falling to my knees in pain I looked around as the smoke started to clear, someone was walking towards me, backing away was all I could do though I was on the ground, I backed away until I hit something, or someone, I looked up and saw a girl wearing a mask. She grabbed my arms, as I struggled to get free, the other person who was walking towards me caught up and pulled a needle out of a bag and jammed it into my neck.

"W-Why?" I asked, but there was no answer. Slowly I faded into the darkness...

People aren't afraid of the dark, only being alone in the dark!

~~~~~<<<<3 days later>>>>~~~~~

"Avery! Where are you?" "Where am I?! HELLO!" It was dark and I was alone.

"Help me..." I heard someone say quietly. I walked over to where I heard the voice...

"A-Avery.. Is that you?" I saw my sister, she was bloody and had stab wounds all over her. She was fighting with someone. Suddenly a guy appeared and he had a sword, he was going to kill her. "No!" I screamed.

The darkness turned into bright lights and I was in some sort of hospital bed. Tears were streaming from my eyes and I couldn't stop looking around the room. 'Where am I, is my sister ok? Those were the only things I could think of.
My comrades ran into the room because I screamed as I woke. About all of them asked if I was ok. The girl that held my arms was checking my vitals. The guy who stuck a needle in my neck asked me if I was ok. I wasn't listening because the one person I didn't see... was my sister.

"Where's my sister?!" I asked without hesitation. Everyone just looked at me then at each other.

One person was about to speak when,"I'm right here Sky!" Someone from the door said, it was Avery.

"This room is a mess!" A guy said, while walking into the room, he looked like he was in his 20's. "Hey pipsqueak, can you straighten everything up?" He said, looking at the girl who checked my vitals.

"Don't call me pipsqueak, my name is Aurora," The girl screamed as her face got red.

"Calm down Aurora!" The guy who asked me if I was ok said. Then he looked at me and apologized,"sorry about that, she gets mad easily." He hesitated for a moment, then spoke again," my names Tristan, and that guy who just walked in is Hunter."

"It's uhm, nice to meet you." I said, then there was a huge crash outside the door it was who we were running from, or what!
A tall guy with blue skin walked into the room and locked eyes with me... "You're under arrest!" He said as his body transformed into a humans with a police officers uniform on. He started walking over towards me never taking his eyes off of me until my sister stepped in front of him blocking his path. Finally he looked down,"move aside!" He said asking impatiently.

"Make me!" she said while both nervous and courageous.

The guy grabbed Avery and threw her to the ground! He punched her a few times and I started getting angry... Jumping off the bed I flew my arms up and waves of air made the machine man fly across the room into the wall! Everyone in the room looked at me, but I didn't care! I walked over to Avery. My brain had no idea what was going on but my body was in control. I picked my sister up and walked out of the room. I found a sign that said exit and I left the place that saved me. I heard people screaming my name but it just made me run, fast!

With no idea where I was going I found a car with its keys still in its ignition so I made sure no one was around and I hopped into the car with Avery and put her in the passengers seat, then I drove off down the road as fast as the car would go!
