If there was one thing that I could say I hate the most it'd definietly be not having my own car. Either you have to pay to take a cab or you have to walk from one place to another, walking isn't too bad.. Unless your apartment is almost two miles from your job, then it sucks. I usually took this small alley that was pretty much filled with trash, and old apartment complexs.
I walked through the alley, just like any other day with out a damn problem. I've never had a problem walking through here, neither have I ever seen someone walk through her but me. I fixed my jacket a bit, the alley was a bit chilly and foggy. It was usually chilly at this time so my jacket was always needed. I pushed my bangs out of my face and contiuned to walk through the fairly long alley way.
The sound of breaking glass stopped me right in my steps, my heart almost dropping to my feet. I turned my head just to see what was behind me, but it was too foggy to see anything clearly.
"Get outta here, Styles! Don't let me see your ass again, or you're fucking dead!" A older man called from what seemed to be higher up. The crunching of the glass from someone walking over the shattered glass, clearly whoever 'Styles' was didn't give a care in the world since he pratically just got a death threat and he's walking away from the sitution like nothing happened.
The footsteps were getting closer, and my heart was still pounding out of my chest. My feet finally decided to walk and not be shaky, even though my whole body was a bit shaky. The tall boy, well, he seemed tall because all I could see was his head just above the fog passed me. His head had a small cut, and you could see the blood slowly dripping down his face.
He hadn't noticed me, and i'm very glad of that. Obviously something was up with him, and it was none of my bussiness to know why he was pushed out of a window or even how he broke the window then got a death threat. It wasn't my place to worry, so I didn't. I just walked out of the alley, a bit quicker then before because I just wanted to get out of there and never will I take that alley ever again.
