I checked what the message was and from whom.

From: Aliana

'SKY I WILL BE COMING TO YOUR PLACE AFTER 4 DAYS! I AM SOOOO EXCITED ABOUT THIS! YAY! I WILL STAY AT YOUR PLACE FOR A WEEK AND THEN I'LL GO BACK. XOXO'

I smiled at the text message. I was extremely excited and thought of all the fun we would have. I decided to take leave from my studies too, only if mom allows.

I didn't get sleep. I wanted to go out and go for a nice long walk. I knew that I shouldn't but I really wanted to go out. I wanted to jump from the window and just fly.

I looked outside my window. The sky was clear and filled with stars and the moon was bright. It didn't look too dark. The weather looked pleasant and welcoming.

I slowly crept down the steps making sure I didn't make any noise and walked out of the house. I loved the cool climate and a feeling of serenity and freedom bloomed in me. I felt so free. I wanted to run and fly, cutting through the air like a bird.

I kept walking to wherever my legs took me. I started feeling a bit cold on my legs now. I had just worn my polka dotted red shorts and my black tank top with a white shawl.

It was quite. My own footsteps sounded like as if someone was walking behind me. I could feel someone watching me but I always felt that so I just shrugged it off and kept walking on the side of the road.

At one point I saw something from the corner of my eye. In between the trees at the side which led to the woods. Maybe it's that stupid Seth, I knew it was him because Nina told me that it was necessary to keep someone watch over me so yeah it was Seth. I wanted to beat him up because basically he has just invaded my happy lonely time.

I slowly walked up to the trees. It was dark but the moonlight was shown between the tree tops, through the leaves and branches.

I slowly walked in and called out, "Seth? Is it you? . . . . . . . . Say something or just come in front of me, without scaring me okay?", I said with a chuckle.

I heard a branch break behind me and I turned around swiftly but saw no one. Maybe it was just my own foot. I mentally slapped my self for acting like a scary boo.

"You think I'm scared? Huh! Get a life! . . . . . . . . C'mon man come in front! Stop behaving that way! I saw you okay!", I shouted out.

I heard some awkward noise behind me. I thought I heard some bones crack or something. I didn't move. Suddenly I heard a throat clear. I slowly turned around and it surprised me when I didn't see Seth. I got a bit scared but then he slowly walked up so a bit of the moonlight came over his calm features and I realised who it was.

"You bastard! You scared me!", I shouted.

"I thought someone said they were not scared..", he said with a smirk and then a chuckle.

I went to him and hit his arm and asked, "What are you doing here?".

"Uh.. Alph- I mean I thought I should just keep a check around here. Uh yeah I got duty to guard this area and I saw you so I was just making sure you're okay.", he said.

He was going to say Alpha. Did the Alpha tell him to check on me? But the Alpha doesn't know that I am Xavier's mate.. He was even staring at me during the meeting. Something's definitely going on. Wow, I liked it when people thought about me but not when they try 'spying' on me.

Many questions ran through my head. Suddenly Tanner snapped his fingers in front of my face. I blinked and realised that I was dreaming. He chuckled and I smiled.
