-TRIGGER WARNING- Death of a loved one.

Here you were, back in Quantico. The last time you were here you had a romantic interest, practically a boyfriend. Agent David Rossi. However, in the middle of everything going great, an incident occurred in your hometown. All the way in London, England. You couldn't tell him why you left, but you told him you had to.

And here you were. You walked the cold streets of Quantico in the pouring rain. You were cold, and shivering as you walked passed familiar shops. Slowly, you entered an old Italian restaurant David took you to a few times. You knew he was a frequent visitor. You approached a waiter and asked to see the manager. Reluctant at first, he called the manager over.
"Hello?" He frowned.
"I was wondering if you could call David Rossi here. My names Y/N. I'm an..old friend. I need to see him." You smiled.
"Y/N. Your name is familiar." He smriked.
"Can you please call him?" You asked.
"Of course my sweet." He smiled before entering his office.
You rubbed your shoulders before leaving the restaurant. You stood outside, waiting for David. You hoped he would show. You hoped he would hold no grudges.
You had no one else.
You were soaking wet, cold and nervous. He was everything you had right now. He was all you had left. A black SUV pulled up outside the restaurant. You knew that was him. David stepped out and slowly approached you. He hadn't changed, of course he had aged, but other than that, he hadn't changed. It had been 10 years.

"Y/N." He frowned, rubbing his eyes as he stood a metre away from you.
"David." You smiled, tears building up in your eyes.
"Come here. " he smiled back, pulling you into a hug. You embraced him, feeling the warmth from the hug. Feeling the love and care you needed right now.
"You are cold Y/N. Come on, I'll take you to a hotel." He smiled.
"David. I have no money." You frowned.
"Y/N. I'll pay then." He smiled.
"Can I stay with you?" You asked.
"If you want to." He smiled.
"Thank you." You nodded. He wrapped his arm around you, and escorted you to his car.

"So, what brought you back here?" He asked.
"You." You said honestly, keeping your eyes fixed on the window.
"Why? " he asked curiously.
"I never wanted to leave, David. You have to understand that." You nodded, feeling tears come on again.
David drove in to his driveway and stopped.
"Why did you leave then?" He asked, turning to you.
"You remember that I was going to apply for your team, right? " you asked.
"Yes, I do." He nodded.
"Erin wanted me to go to London. There had been a series of killings. After I'd dealt with the case my father was diagnosed with cancer. I looked after him. He died a month ago." You felt a tear drop.
David rested a hand on your leg and sighed. "I'm so sorry Y/N." He nodded.
"Don't be. You are all I have left." You darted your eyes from him to the car door. You slowly got out, and stood in the pouring rain, waiting for him to also get out.
David got out, locked his car and wrapped an arm around you, walking you to the door. He opened it, and took you inside.

You were shivering. David ran upstairs quickly and handed you one of his t shirts.
"I'll take the sofa." You smiled.
"Of course." He nodded.
You went into the bathroom and got changed, the shirt was longer and it went down to your mid thigh.
"Thank you." You smiled, handing David your wet clothes. David placed your clothes over a radiator.

"I'll be going to bed now." He nodded. "If you need anything, you know where I am."
"Thank you." You smiled.
David turned to walk away, but you called for him.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing. I just wanted to do this." You smiled placing a quick kiss on his cheek.
"You never forgot, did you?" He asked.
"No. I never did, did you?" You asked.
"Never." He smiled.
