It was a beautiful, warm night at the mansion. Everyone was bustling and making a lot of noise. Some people were drinking, some people were playing games, a few people outside the mansion were fighting, and so on. But one person- or rather, being- wasn't enjoying any of the excitements going on.

Frisk was hiding and quivering in the closet, scared. If she were a person, she'd be having the time of her life with everyone else. But a few days prior, something happened, and she turned into a little, brown puppy. Being so small and young, all the loud noises and fighting scared her.

The sound of a gaster blaster firing from outside startled her, and she jumped up and whimpered.

Just outside the door, Brassberry, one of the bitties living in the mansion, heard Frisk whimper. Brass opened the closet door and saw Frisk shaking like a leaf. Frisk looked at Brass and started to growl. She knew who Brass was, but given the current situation she was in, she couldn't trust anyone.

"Hey...it's ok Frisk. I'm not gonna hurt you."

Brass raised his left hand close to Frisk, not jumping right at her. Frisk cautiously took a step towards Brass and smelled his hand. She whimpered, realizing that she growled at a close friend.

"Hey...I'm not mad at ya. You were just trying to protect yourself from potential danger. If anything, I'm proud that you growled at me."

Frisk wagged her tail weakly. She was glad someone was there to comfort her.

Suddenly, they heard another gaster blaster fire off. Frisk jumped closer to Brass and whimpered.

Brass could feel Frisk's soft fur against his ribs. It kind of tickled. Brass petted Frisk carefully.

"It's ok Frisk...nothing's gonna hurt you here...not while I'm around. You'll be ok."

Frisk quietly whimpered, and leaned into Brass. Brass quietly sang a lullaby to Frisk in an attempt to calm Frisk down.

"Stars and moons and air balloons, fluffy clouds to the horizon. I'll wrap you in rainbows and rock you to sleep again.

Teddy bears of pink, ducks and lambs of white. Don't you cry dear I'm here now, I'll be your nightlight.

Stars and moons and air balloons, fluffy clouds to the horizon. I'll wrap you in rainbows and rock you to sleep again.

Smile to cure the frowns, twirling and tumbling in laughter. Someday life will always be, happily ever after.

Never more will the storms come, to destroy your little world. Never more will the waters rise, 'til the mountains no longer touch the skies.

Stars and moons and air balloons, fluffy clouds to the horizon. I'll wrap you in rainbows and rock you to sleep again.

I'll wrap you in rainbows, and rock you to sleep again."

Brass's calm voice calmed Frisk down, as she slowly fell asleep, wagging her tail. If you looked closely, you could see a faint smile on her face.

"Heh...good girl." Brass said, petting Frisk. He slowly fell asleep, with his arms around Frisk.

A few hours later, someone opened the door. It was Error, Frisk's husband.

"Hey Frisk. You in here?"

Error looked down and saw Frisk and Brass together, sleeping.

"Heh...I'll get them somewhere more comfortable."

Error carefully picked them up with his magic, and took them to Frisk's dog bed in the living room. The noise had died down, with only the sound of someone playing the piano playing in the background.

Frisk wagged her tail slowly, and held Brass close to her with her paws.

Brass held onto Frisk as well, smiling as he slept.

"Cute," replied Error, as he left the two to sleep.
