As rain in the wind
And a thousand cries never answered.
Like love not said
Or beauty beat red.
As blood with no life
And when honey is bitter.
As a man with no strive
As death is his whisper.
Though sordid it is
And frantic the storm,
Rising as the seas
Enormous blue moan.
You are the one
For who I sing,
Rising of the sun,
Sweetest of symphonies.
You are my gorgeous rose,
Crushed beneath feet,
But as a diamond shows,
Languid was not He.
Repulsive is me!
Why do we drool
So deliriously?
Over lies we dream,
In shadows sleep
And madly scream
Of elaborate lustings.
Yet it pleased You
To stop,
To go and recall
Those running from You.
Oh, how can it be
That You would love
Someone like me
Who hated You?!
How can it be
That You would die
For someone like me?!
Sinful me!
How can it be
That by Your death
I am free?!
Forever free!
It is not possible.
Beyond belief.
It is not probable,
But God I have faith.
Because You said to me
"Come, take My hand
And you'll be free.
Free from your pain.
Free from your misery.
Free from your shame
And from your poverty.
You will be rich
Rich in me.
Now richness is nothing
When it comes physically
But when You have Me...
Can't you see?
Even when you're poor
You're rich spiritually.
Because you got hope
And you got redemption
You got love
And you got salvation
Please don't worry
This ain't a deception
I love you
You just gotta accept me."
So I looked from myself
Into His love-torn eyes
And He showed me
Everything buried inside.
And at that moment,
I began to cry.
Because for my sin,
I was not willing to die.
But I had a Savior
Who already died
And now this sinner,
She's all clean inside.
So I live today
Like I have nothing left
Because all I can say
Is I got faith.

Faith
PoetryThis is a poem I wrote last year about where I felt I was at spiritually and thought I would share it with you. It is about how my faith even in trials will stand on God. I hope that you like it.
