"Is it nice , Virginia?"
I had been skyping Aaron for so long my eyes were becoming to heavy to hold open.
"It's amazing Aaron , the sooner you visit the better!" I said with the most tired voice you can imagine.
"I should get to bed Aaron. , it's been 6 hours and 51 minutes ... I need to make my bed still."
"Yes , ok go on , skype me in the morning or something ok?"
"Ok."
I loved Aaron , he was my soul sister , my spirit animal. I could trust him with my absolute life! He's best friend , although I hate labels , he's gay and out. His parents aren't really used to having a gay son , at one point they tried to match me with him!
I don't blame them though , 5 boys and all straight except Aaron who was the youngest.
We go back as far as time! He was the wierd boy in nursery (which is basically kindergarten but in England) who enjoyed shoving crayons up his nose.
But we got on like a house on fire , 102 crayons later and we were best friends , we dressed up in pink feather boa's and mimed every song on the spice girls' album into a hair brush!
In a nutshell , he is my bestfriend!

I shut my MacBook after shutting it down and placed it on a pile of my favourite photography books. I remembered my polaroids and instantly jumped up and searched through my last box marked 'memories'.
I looked through the pictures.
My favourite was a re-created picture of me and Aaron in dress-up outfits ten years on. It was by far the best! I grabbed my phone which was a silver iPhone 6 and unlocked it. I spent hours listening to music through my earphones when my mum pops into my new room.
I remove my earphones to engage in conversation with her.
"It's beautiful in here , Aria! I love what you did with it so far. Your dad wants to speak with you downstairs for a moment."
Confused , I get up off of my carpet floor and walk down 3 flights of stairs to get to the kitchen. My room was the biggest in the house with a beautiful balcony which had the best view!
"Hi sweetheart"
"Dad what is this about?"
"Nothing , your not in trouble. But you will be one day!"
"What?"
"I've put you together a little self defence bag , which is perfect for on the go!"
"Dad I rea-"
"Pepper spray! Always a must!"
"Dad I-"
"I packed a few plasters to just Incase you fall over... oh a spare phone , it's only a Nokia but it has $20 worth of credit and-"
"Thank you dad , so much really. I will check it out later"
"No it's ok I-"
"David. Let her go! She's fourteen not five!"
My mum handed me my 'survival bag' as ushered me upstairs.
"Night mum , night dad , I love you both"
"Love you to sweetie" they said in perfect unison.
I ran upstairs and placed my bad on my dresser before staring in the mirror.
"Oh Aria Cailen , why are you so ugly!"
I say to myself why frowning in the mirror before tying my rib cage lengthed hair into a high ponytail and picking out my favourite pj's.
My snow leapord onesie was just so comply! I jumped into my kingsize bed , turned off my lamp and plugged my phone on charge.
I then shut my eyes and thought about all the exiting photos I could take the next day.
I slowly fell into a deep slumber...
