This is the year 3056 day 47

“They never actually cared Greyson.” The man said lurking around the room quietly taunting me. He watched me the whole time. I stood in the middle of the room trying not to give into his taunting “Yeah they did.” I said reassuring myself. “Did they now? What about all of those times you waited for Daddy by the window and he never came?” He growled coming closer in the hopes of getting into my thoughts and fears. I smiled innocently “Daddy was always playing in the shadows. Why would I care for scum like him?” He gripped onto my throat lifting me off the ground. “Greyson, you are putting yourself in a troubling situation you know.” He sighed dropping me to the ground “I’ll be back later dearest.” He vanished. I was left in the cold, dark room alone. “Come on Grey wake up.” I heard faintly from a distance.

“Greyson get up.” I heard being shaken carelessly. I opened my eyes to see a frustrated Rory. “Well good morning sunshine.” I mumbled. Soon enough Aztelleze yelled in that training would start in an hour. I sat up rubbing my head looking at Rory “Where’s Pazell?” She shrugged “I haven’t seen him all day.” I waved her away “Go so I can get ready.” I mumbled standing. She laughed and walked away. I stood up, and thought to myself. That wasn’t like Pazell, to not be seen. I walked around looking for him. I could have looked for hours on end before realizing where he is. The roof. I sighed running up stairs and opening a window going through it. ”Pazell?” I asked seeing him. He looked over at me “yeah?” I smiled lightly “May I join you?” He nodded to me before looking back out onto lake. “What’s going on?” I asked sitting down next to him. He shrugged “I’m a bit scared.” I looked at him surprised “Why? We can take him down.” I said looking at him.  “I just...” He started stopping suddenly “I’m okay. Let’s go back inside, I’m cold.” He stood going back in the window. I sighed knowing he was lying and followed. I followed him down the hallway silently watching him carefully. Who knew, maybe we couldn’t win.
