I could feel the sinister presence behind me as I ran across town. The further I got, the closer he came. I took a left, then a right, then another left until I found myself trapped with a brick wall at my back. There was nowhere to go, no way or place to escape to. I heard the slight scuffle of footsteps and a husky voice rasped out.
“I told you I would find you, Alexandra”.
I whirled around and came face to face with a shadowy figure with a well-defined facial structure and blood-red eyes.
Alexandra Erindell, a 16 year old girl, was forced to move to New York with her older brother and neglective father after she saw her mother murdered in an alleyway by a man with red eyes. After starting over in the Big Apple, Alexandra's past comes back to haunt her when her brother's friend, Lucas, comes to visit them and asks questions that Alexandra doesn't want to answer.
