This story is about me, my aspirations, and my dreams. Now I don't want to get to personal so I will use fake names. This is not a true story, so they are not real situations either. This is a story based on how I wish my life to be. Isn't that what all writers do anyway?

So let's start with a name for my character.... let's go with Jane. I'm a big Jane Austen fan.

I want to say Jane was a pretty normal girl, but what normal? She grew up in a large happy family, had enough friends and was pretty happy. Nothing to complain about I guess.
As she grew older (during her middle school and high school years) she began to realize that she wasn't happy. You know sometimes it's a simple as that. She was not happy. There wasn't any abuse, bullying, nothing of that nature, she wasn't satisfied. She pushed friends away, listened to depressing music, began to drink heavily, and cried herself to sleep. This isn't the way her life was in her dreams. No boyfriend, not the beautiful girls, she was trying too hard to fit in. Let's be thankful she didn't become a slut.

Just before her senior year she realized that none of that matters. The amount of friends you have, how many parties you go to, it doesn't matter. She climbed out of her depressed shell and became not only more happy but more social.

She had the same friends but her friendships were much more close and fulfilling, she ended up partying more but that just happens as you get older no matter your mental health.

This story doesn't begin in high school though. It begins the year after her graduation.

It took a year for people to notice her true personality and she let it run free more and more and she began to be loved for the person she kept hidden all those years. She was a complete stoner on the inside. A lot of people may condone these types of people, but she wasn't a dumb stoner who smoked her brains out. She was an intelligent artsy type. The kind that is going somewhere and let's every experience, each smoke inspire her.

Jane was a positive person but much like everyone else she still had nights where she cried herself to sleep. How the hell are you supposed to stay strong if you don't cry yourself to sleep every so often.

You see there was this guy in Jane's life.

"He's a complete asshole!"  Jane said laughing.
You see she finds humor in this because she knew they would never amount to anything because he is a total player.

"I'm very well aware." Destiny breathed out with a puff of smoke.

They often spent their afternoons lying on the floor talking while smoking a blunt. This is probably the best way to bond with your friends I might add.

"I used to have a huge crush on him man." Destiny breaks the silence.

"Me too." Jane adds. "I'm not that dumb tho. He needs to change first and he never will."

It didn't bother them that they both wanted this boy because they both knew he wasn't the dating type anyways. Neither of the girls were interested in the way he treated girls.

As they finished their session they sat up and looked at each other.

"You're eyes are completely bloodshot!" Destiny squealed in laughter.

"Well that's what happens dumbass." Jane said quietly standing up and getting her denim jacket.

"I'm gonna get food. Ya wanna come with?" Jane offered her friend.

"Only if it's Chinese." She replied

"Ya, all right." Jane waited for Destiny to get her shoes and jacket and ended up spacing out hardcore. Thinking about how she and her crush would be together if he wasn't a dumbass.

"Who's a dumbass?" Destiny said pulling on her jacket.

"Steven. Let's roll."  Jane blew it off.

"True." Destiny agreed as they left their apartment.

A/n: hey guys I needed an outlet and well I explain myself in the beginning of this chapter. Continue to read it'll get good.
