My bedroom door slammed shut. Hot salty tears fell from my eyes.
I threw my bag on the ground and sat on my bed.
I buried my face in my hands and kept crying.
Why? Why? Why?
I felt a hand on my shoulder. Lifting my head I saw my mom standing there.
"It's ok." She said.
"No! It's not ok! If you didn't notice I've never really had a father like figure and then when I finally felt like I had a father he dies! You think it's ok? I thought you loved him! I thought you cared! You obviously don't, or else you would be sad just like me!" I yelled.
"Summer Marie. Do you not think I'm sad. I'm trying not to cry for you." She said.
"Well it's not working." I said.
She sighed and left the room.
I walked over to my mirror, and wiped away the tears.
Grabbing my phone I sat in my chair.
I texted my friend Spencer.
S- Spencer
SR- summer
SR- hey
S- hey what's up
SR- nothing
S- oh. Wanna come over
SR- sure I'll be over in 10
S- got it
With that the conversation was over. I packed my bag and had mom drive me over to Spencer's place.
I walked up to the front door. Her older brother Mark answered.
He let me in and I walked up to Spencer's room.
We talked for a while, did girl stuff, you know the usual. But then things got interesting.
