Ōka Minae was her name.

Now before we get on with the story, she wanted to say that she wasn't one who liked to talk about herself, but for the sake of this chapter's purpose, she would willingly (not) sacrifice just a bit of her time off the kitchen.

People often told her that she was unusual, an oddball you could say. With her wavy raven hair had some random natural pieces of white, who wouldn't think so? But Minae preferred it to she being unique.

She was, anything but a perfect girl. But she couldn't deny that it really depends on how each person think. Back in middle school, she remembered she had quite a collection of troubles she caused during the times she was in her "rebellion stage". She would break the rules as if it was a daily routine. Snap back with witty remarks and empty threats when she was sent to the principal's office. Eat instant ramen in the police station anytime she feels like it and save the phone numbers of the cell guards when she was forced to spend the night. Yep, her rebellion stage sure was a pretty hard to match.

It was quite the irony that her last name and first syllable of her given named created the word "Ōkami" - meaning either a great god and great spirit, or wolf in the matter of fact. And since Minae herself was a rather wolfish person, she found it admirable that who ever named her was practically a psychic and they foresaw she was going to be something like this.

But all that was in the past, she was a grown up now.

Well. . . not literally, but she matured. Unlike before, her hair wasn't curled up into swirls and tied into pigtails nor did her nails were painted a midnight black and her uniform was practically a one piece swimsuit. So of course she changed a lot.

Minae didn't exactly have a favorite color. More like she loved all of them but there were some which she favored higher than the others. For instance, colors such as teal, violet, sea green, and bright gray - her eye color, were the top on her list.

Likewise, she didn't care much about her appearance and fashion trends these days but still made effort to at least look blend-in every time she's out on the street. She also admitted she was kind of a loner. The only contacts she had were the three cell guards (gotta have them), Sen-jiji and Sai-jisan. And that was about it.

She was probably the most pathetic teen in this generation of technology.

But really? Could you honestly blame her, all she did was skipping grades (and classes), eating, sleeping and more importantly cooking. Period. Her social life was just that. Now you made her felt like sighing.

By the way, time was up. Thanks but no thank you, for wasting your time reading her poorly written introduction. Bye bye, and this great Ōka Minae will meet you till next chapter!
