The Locket

If you had the chance to find out when you'd meet your soulmate, would you?
"Erin get your butt down here, you've been like 10 minutes!" Nicole shouts.
"I don't know if I look good!You just never know when you'll meet somebody cute." Erin replies with a laugh.
"Am I not cute enough for you" Leo grins, he was pretty much cracking up laughing.
"Umm......" Erin laughs. Leo flirts with Erin all the time, but it's in a funny way. About a minute of silence passes, before Erin comes down the stairs. She was dressed in a frilly blouse, jeans, the prettiest shoes and necklace she had, with her beautiful brown hair swept into a side braid.
"So where are we going?" Erin questions.
"To get your birthday present; you're choosing." Leo replies with a smile.
"Oh yeah! My birthday is in a week." Erin grins as she remembers.
Nicole laughs as she waits for the others to hop into her Subaru.
Leo and Erin chase after her.
"SHOTGUN!" Leo screams.
"We're going for my birthday present!!" Erin shouts after him. Erin sprints and leaps into the front seat.
"You still haven't told me were we are going." Erin calls, settling down in her seat.
"Maureen's potion, spells and wizardry supplies" Nicole grins.
"But isn't that a magic shop? You know my mum hates that kind of stuff." Erin squeaks.
"Yeah, well, this place puts the magic into everyday items." Leo says.
"Sure, sure" Erin says sarcastically.
The shop was about an hour away, they talk happily about the kind of magic items they'd like. Erin is still hesitant about the whole magic thing though. The travel to their destination felt like it only took minutes, the time really flew away.
"Oh umm... Maybe, we should.... Rethink this." Erin says, staring at the tall tower, it seems as tall as the sky.
"Don't worry, it's a great idea." Leo says.
As they walk in Erin feels a presence watching her... Where is the shop keeper...?Maureen, wasn't it?
"Well, I guess you should have a look around." Nicole offers.
There is all kinds of junk in this place like, old boots that say they can make you "fly", a bike helmet that claims it can transport you to any place in the world in an instant, even a bracelet that allows you to become invisible. A particular item catches Erin's eye, it is an old fashion, copper locket. However there is no sign to show off what it does.
"I see you like my locket, it is useless to me now." Croaks an old fragile voice.
The trio turns around so fast, it was as if they were horses reacting to a gun shot.
An old lady was standing there, she must have been incredibly beautiful when she was younger. Her grey hair is in a perfect bun, her long dress is dirty and torn where it touches the floor, and she has a kind face filled with happy wrinkles.
"Here, let me show you what it does..."
