Austin's POV
~~~
I ran my hand through my wavy, brown hair and tapped my foot against the steel table. My coffee was getting cold, and she still hadn't showed up. Great. I pulled out my phone to check my text messages, but before I could shoot out a text, I saw her.
Her hair swayed in the breeze, her red lips stood out upon her light skin. Her curvy figure almost mesmerizing. As she approached, I could hear her red heels clack clack clack on the pavement, and her small black dress was fitting... Camila.
"Hey." I greeted her as I stood up. Brushing off the imaginary dust on my black pants.
"Hey, you!" Her voice sing songed as she slowed to a stop next to me. Her red lips formed a smile and she adjusted her short dress. "Where have you been? Hiding?" She giggles and tossed her hair to one side.
"Eh, so... you've heard?" I shrugged and pulled my hood up, shading my face.
"Yup!" She popped the "p", "shall we sit?" She gestured towards the table. Her painted nails were perfect.
"Oh yeahh, sure." I pulled out a seat for her and then took mine. "I can buy you a-"
"No need." she cut me off, "I already had some on the way here." She smiled.
"Of course," I mumbled and slouched lowered into the seat. "Anyways, so... uh,"
"I was thinking," she slid a piece of paper over to me.
I reached for it, reluctantly. I quickly scanned over the paper, "not bad." I muttered.
She fixed her hair and adjusted her black Chanel sunglasses. "Well, baby don't you remember it like yesterday- when I first saw your face- for the very first time- baby I wanna go back again- one last time to hold your hand and stare into those eyes." She started singing.
"I remember it like yesterday, holdin hands in a happy daze, oh baby I" I sang back, tapping my hands on my legs to the tune.'
She grinned and lifted her shades, "not bad, Mahone."
"You too." I smiled back... maybe this wasn't going to be so bad after all.
Scarlett's POV
~~~
I sat cross legged on my bed flipping through the dozens of pages the laid before me. Notes, letters, random thoughts scribbled down over time. And dozens upon dozens of photographs- Austin, Me, Both of us- kissing, laughing, hugging, holding hands, smiling. I picked up and random one and studied it.
We were at the beach and my hair was a wet, messy wave and my bikini had water droplets on it, and Austin; Austin's hair was curly and all over the place, his face shown with happiness and his arms looked toned and defined.
How could this be?
How could he leave me already?
How was this possible?
I just got him back... this. wasn't. fair. I stared at the photo and reached for the scissors. Goodbye Austin. I slowly started cutting the picture in half. Last nights excitement and joy with Mia and Stacey was gone and dread had replaced it.
Boys were simply lying, backstabbing, dickheads.
Boys were pigs.
Boys were assholes.
Boys were jerk faced little fuck shits.
Boys were... heart-breakers.
I finished cutting and picked up my half of the photo. Fuck you, Mahone. Fuck you. I tossed Austin into the trash and picked up the next picture.
