As we were on our way to meet Grand Pabbie, I was so nervous I felt like I was going to throw up, which I have never done before. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, and I could hear my cold heart beating quickly. I put on my gloves to calm myself a little, but I was feeling like I was about to cry.
My horse was running quickly, and I turned my head to look back on the ground, and I could see the green grass turning into crystal-like ice. The gloves were not doing a very good job at helping me control my power, but they were doing a good job at preventing my horse from freezing to death.
Sven slowed down as soon as we were in the middle of the forest, we were almost there. Then, we could see it. Less than a hundred rocks were lying on the ground, and my stomach started to tangle, my cold heart freezing my inside, and the cold air around me was making it hard to breathe. I could feel a single drop of tear falling down my right cheek, to the ground, instantly turning into a small piece of ice.
My horse slowed down, and then it came to a stop, and so did Anna's and Sven. Kristoff hopped off Sven, and Olaf let go of Sven's antlers. Kristoff looked at Anna, but before he could offer her a hand, Anna had already jumped onto the ground filled with green grass, while holding out a hand to me.
"Don't be afraid, Elsa, it's going to be just fine." Anna said to me while squeezing a smile.
I took her hand and landed on the ground, the ground immediately turning into solid ice. I realized that my power was not exactly getting out of hand, but the ice and snow was urging me that they wanted to be released, that they needed to be released. By then, I had a terrifying flashback of what I did to Anna and to my kingdom, and I thought, if my ice power is going to stick with me for the rest of my life, I will struggle to control it, whether Anna is there for me or not.
And I got really, really afraid.
Kristoff led us to the trolls, while Anna was holding my arm, assisting me, and by doing that, I was able to wipe off the ice that I made by accident.
"The last time we were here, Anna and I thought that Kristoff was crazy. He was talking to those rocks and I was pretending to talk to one of the rocks, so that Anna would run. Now that I think about it, it was really weird." Olaf said while accenting the word 'crazy', and then gave out his contagious laughter. I laughed with him too.
"Yeah! And I was on the edge of freezing to deat-" Anna said, suddenly looked at me and changed her subject, "the trolls started to dress up Kristoff and me, making some sort of wedding ceremony for us..." she then looked at Kristoff and they exchanged a loving smile.
Kristoff walked into the middle of the pile of rocks, and said, "Hey guys! I brought Queen Elsa here, to meet Grand Pabbie." While waiting for the trolls to show themselves, he walked around talking to one rock, then the other.
Olaf was right, if I did not know they were trolls, I would have thought that Kristoff was crazy too.
Then, the rocks started to roll into the middle of the ground, forming a crowded pack of rocks. The trolls then held their head up, immediately turning to Anna and me with the biggest pairs of eyes. They then turned to Kristoff, and I could hear them all trying to talk to Kristoff at once.
Grand Pabbie rolled to my feet, and I greeted him by bowing. As soon as Grand Pabbie came out, the rest of the trolls were silent, and they all paid attention to what he was going to say, and also, to me.
