                          Welcome reader, to the world of SCP. It is a rather dangerous world, though dangerous is a mild term used to describe what is done. As our founder (Redacted) Has said, "We Secure the nightmares the public of the world must never know, we Contain the horrors of the world so that no one else must know true evil, we Protect the world from creatures and items that, if let loose would create damage on such a scale that would make all the wars humanity has waged, all the plagues and natural disasters combined, if these things were to ever escape our control, our security fail, or our protection of everyone were to go wrong.... well, lets just say it would be horrible. it would be akin to the end of days described by many religious texts throughout history. 
                          Doomsday, Armageddon, Ragnarok, the Apocalypse. These are things that we are trying to stop. 
                          You see, the Name of the organization is SCP. it stands for Secure, Contain, Protect.   We secure these 'Projects'. We 'Contain' them. And we 'Protect' the people of the world from horrors long thought to be forgotten.
                          

                          For so long that has been our main directive. I write this as the newly founded public affairs office head of staff. I write this to the civilians, the leaders, the fighters, and the scared. These things are out there. we only ask for your help. if you have any information on any odd creature send them to us. I, no, We ask for your help in this endeavor. We will post files of SCP's that are known every day. we will include how to contain them in a civilian manner.
                          A contact information for the foundation will be given to the public by your own government. From this point we will be taking a different approach. Safe Class will be treated different and will be put to test to see if they are worth bringing fully out into the public's eyes, maybe being even beneficial to the population. 

                          Maybe. just maybe this is what it will take to bring these things to safety and understanding instead of fearing.
