It was a very rainy Sunday afternoon. And Caroline was in her dorm room waiting till 7pm so she and Elena could have some girl time. But She had to admit that she was tired of hearing Elena cry about her break up with Damon. Though she hated the blue-eyed prick and was happy that they broke up, Caroline still felt sorry for her friend. After all...you can't control who you love.

snapping out of her thoughts she heard a loud knock on the door.
Which was strange cause she wasn't expecting anyone.

What if it's Elena, who decided to come early? she thought.

"Elena, I thought we were going to meet up at the grill?" Caroline called out as she made her way towards the door.

but as the door swung open, it wasn't Elena. It wasn't at all who she expected to see.

"Klaus." she whispered with disbelief.

Am I hallucinating?

"Hello love," he said with a smirk. "I see you were expecting someone else?"
he walked passed her further in the room.

"Actually," she closed the door. "I wasn't expecting anyone at all right now, especially you. what are you doing here?" She asked out of curiosity. "Aren't you supposed to be on a killing spree or something?" She added, raising her brows.

He chuckled. "Been there. Done that." His smirk then grew into a teasing smile. "And I take it...you're not happy to see me?"
The blonde just rolled her eyes.

"And to answer your question sweetheart," Klaus continued as he found himself a seat. "I just simply came to visit a friend. So tell me..how have you been? everything's still the same I see."

she scoffed as she sat next to him.

"Well lets see, Stefan died over and over and over for 3 months, Bonnie was dead but -thanks to Silas' ex-physcho girlfriend, is now alive again, Katherine is human, and Silas is finally dead. But besides that? yeah, everything is just peachy." sarcasm evident in her voice.

He chuckled. "What about your mutt? where is he now?"

Caroline glared at him "Tyler." she corrected. "and what about him? he clearly chose revenge for you over being with me so... we're over." she sighed thinking back to how much she still wanted that life with him. But nevertheless, she needed to move on.

Klaus couldn't stop himself from smiling, it was like music to his ears.

"Well, I would be lying if I said I was sorry about what happened. Because I'm not. But just so you know, I-"

"Don't Klaus," she cut him off, unnoticeably putting her hand over his mouth. And the hybrid shivered at her touch. "I know what you're going to say. But that doesn't make it better, so...Just. Don't." she said patiently while slowly removing her hand from his lips. Then poked his shoulder playfully to lighten up the atmosphere. "Don't."

Klaus, though, just smiled wide. "I don't know what you mean love, I was just going to inform you about his unexpected visit to New Orleans. Lets just say he tried to fight me to death but lost." he leaned back into the couch, "Did I mention that he practically begged me to kill him?" His smile turned into a smirk.

She stopped breathing for a second. Tyler's dead? Her eyes widened as she quickly turned her head to look at him no...Tyler is not dead.. He couldn't..
But then again, Caroline didn't remember talking to him ever since he walked out.

"Klaus, you didn't... Did yo-" but before she could finish he cut her off,

"He's still alive. So, no need to worry, love. But I have to say...it was quite tempting." his brows quirked up and his eyes glistened with laughter.
