chapter one

Hana P.O.V

     I'm listening to Nickelback on Pandora on my phone, my dad is driving the academy. I really don't want to go, but I have too. My dad is dying and won't be able to care for me. After mom got killed he's never been the same, but that's what happens when you lose your mate. He's slowly dying, but he want's to make sure I'm going be taking care of. We pull in to the school. It's beautiful, there's a forest surrounding the school. The lawn is perfect , and there's a huge lake on one side of the school. Behind the school you can see the dorm buildings. There's a rule of when you find your mate you have to move in to a dorm room together. I really hope I don't have a mate, When we park in front of the dorm building I get out and take my stuff to my dorm. I was here about a week ago and got registered and got my room key. When I finished I said I love you to my dad for the last time. I start class tomorrow. I go take a shower and then go to bed 

* time skip*

     I wake up to my alarm going off. I get up and take a shower and get dress in a black leather crop top, black skinny jeans, and black combat boots with one inch heel.I know what you're probably thinking I'm goth or something, but I'm not I just love dark colors is all. I did some eyeliner and mascara with light brown eye shadow. I look in the mirror my deep copper red hair looks like just finished curing it and comes to the middle of my back, my blue eyes are looking nice with the makeup I did, and I've always had perfect compilation with my pale skin with my freckles. I grab my bookbag and walk to the cafeteria. I get a glass of B-negative blood. yes I'm a vampire, and the school supplies free blood to all vampires and half vampires. I love B-negative, because it's very sweet. I start to drink my glass when I notice someone walking really fast up to me.

Damien P.O.V

     I've been smelling my mate scent since last night. I'm wanting her so bad. My inner demon is craving to find and mark her. marking is a vampire thing to actually all creature beside human and animals do it. an inner demon is basally my primal instinct but werewolves have their wolves which has a mind of it's know, kinda like two people in one body. I was following her scent to the cafeteria. Then I see the most beautiful girl in the world. Her  copper hair looks likes it's on fire in the sunlight, she's sitting in. Her skin looks soft to the touch and sprinkled with freckles. I start to walk up to her. She turns around and all I see is fear in her blue eyes, She runs out of the cafeteria. I run after her, I catch up to her with no problem. I grab her by her arm and push her out against the wall, with my hands on either side of her to keep her there. I was carefully not to hurt her in any way."Why did you run" I said rougher then I meant to. She flinch at my tone. I felt like someone just pulled out my heart. I scared her and enough to make her flinch. Yeah I want people to fear me, but not her anyone but her.  "I-I-I'm s-sorry" she whisperer Why is she so scared of me, she doesn't even know who I am. "Please don't be scared of me. I'm not going to hurt you I swear. I've much rather be shot a hundred times or go weeks without blood. Then have you scared of me. I'm your mate and I want you to be happy." "P-please let me go I-I got to get to c-class." She keeps her head down. I move my arm down and she runs away. I'm an idiot. She's terrified of me and I don't even know why. I punch a huge hole in the white wall brick. I storm off to class. At class I see her sitting in the forth row. I open my mouth to say something but the bell rings before I could. I take my regular seat which is right behind her.  I see how tench she is and she keeps her head down. When the teacher walks in he starts roll call. He said a few name. "Hana Shadow" "Yes" My mate answered. Hana, I mouthed her name a few time. After class I was going to talk to her, but she runs out as soon the bell rings. Turns out we have every class to together, but no luck she keeps leaving before I can said a word.

Hana P.O.v

     when I scene that guy was a coven master I had to run. I don't believe a word he said about not wanting to hurt me. Just cause we're mates doesn't mean he won't hurt me. My last coven master beat me and everyone even his own mate. He might said that now, but as soon as I say the wrong thing I could get a black eye and a couple broken bones. Human are wrong with the super healing yes we heal faster but not like the movie. If it takes a human two weeks to heal it takes us one week. I've done a pretty good job avoiding him but we have the same lunch so I got to face the music.  I was sitting at a table by myself with a glass of B-negative blood. Oh and I found out he's not just a coven master he's a freake'n vampire king. Just my luck why could it had been a regular vampire or werewolf without all the fancy titles. I scene him behind me. He sat down right in froth of me. He had to trays of food and two glasses of blood. How much does this guy eat like for real two trays and glasses!!  " you can have as much as you want." he got some food for me that's nice. I grab the rolls and the cookies. " like carbs much." "no there's just nothing else I can eat." he looks at me like I'm crazy. "You might think it's funny but I'm a vegetarian," He choked on his blood for a minute. "Then I guess you don't drink for the vain." " I don't only when they want me too and that rarely happens." it's really rare to find a vampire like me. Most love drinking from the vain and crave it. it's common for couples to drink from each other. The neck in an intimate spot and we only drink there we are mate/lover or we need blood so bad we lose control. " tell me beautiful what's your favorite blood type and type of food" I blush at his commit "B-negative and anything with chocolate" I said as I take a bite of the chocolate chip cookie. He has a smirk on his face. Now I get a good look of him he's really hot. He has raven black hair, emerald green eyes, light tan skin, broad chest, toned body,long legs, and the height of 6'3.  He's a foot taller then me, I mentality sigh at how small I am. " you know you have to move into my dorm house tonight right" " What makes you think I'll go or even accept you."  " You shouldn't have said that"
