Chapter I: Unwanted guest

Hanzo's POV

Another cold night in Hanamura, the moonlight shining through the entrance to Shimada Castle. There was nothing but silence. For a moment I felt as if I could finally accept myself, a moment of peace. While there was no excusing myself of my sins, I feel as if I can be whole. But with my brother gone I cannot atone, but I've opened up a new path to wisdom. Maybe then I can see through my mistakes, and find tranquility.

The silence is broken. There is an unwanted guest.

"Reveal yourself." There was silence for a second, but only for a second. As a young woman shows herself from behind the railing she gave me a questionable look. As if I was the one in the wrong.

"How did you know I was here? I was hiding!" She was shocked by me noticing her, I'm baffled.

"Did you really think you could hide behind a railing?"
"Well yeah I guess.. Okay maybe I should've hid under the bridge thing, that might've been smarter."

I reached for an arrow in my quiver, pulled it back on my bow, and aimed in between her eyes. Raising her hands in a panic I notice she has no weapon on her.

"WHOA WHOA WHOA! PLEASE DON'T SHOOT I COME IN PEACE!"

"State your business, gaijin! You do not strike me as threatening but you are here for something!" I kept my arrow on her. Continuing to look at her I notice she had pen and paper hanging loosely on her belt.

"I DIDN'T COME HERE TO HURT YOU OR STEAL ANYTHING FROM YOU, I SWEAR!"

"Then why are you here?"

"I'm here for you, Hanzo!"

I'm taken aback from her words. She knows my name and she says she's here for me. I put down my bow and arrow and gave her a questionable look.

"Here for me?"

"Yeah. I know you, you're searching for peace right? Well I'm the person who is gonna help you find it!"

She knows my name and she knows what I am looking for. Who is this girl?
