I can hear the graduation march that afternoon.

I see my mama, papa and ate on the crowd and they are so proud of me.

I am really blessed to have a loving family.

I also saw tita Neth and Chloe na katabi nila mama sa likod. Their dad didn’t contact them and nasa States daw ito ngayon.

Sila Mika and Paul naman getting better. They look so cute together, si manhid at si torpe ay favorite love team ko! Heheheh.

Alexa looks sad.

Sila Kobi and Sophia, they are always taking glances to each other.

And my ever handsome future, si Jai. He looks so gwapo.

I was called to deliver my valedictorian speech.

“Can I request for everyone to raise your thumb? Look at it. No one in the world have the same fingerprints as yours, in the same way that no one else on earth will ever be able to play the role God planned for you. Four years ago, the first time I stepped in the campus ground, fears and doubts filled my mind back then. I feel insignificant, unnoticed and average. I am bleeding whenever I see Mrs. Heran writing up an algebra problem on the white board, pushing us to find the famous ‘x’ of mathematics. I wonder why math never move on and always asks us to find her x.”

Natawa naman ang crowd.

“High school indeed is the happiest stage of one’s life. I just want to share a personal experience of it, I know all of us has a story to tell and I’d love to hear them from you too. I am not really as intelligent as you guys may think. Graduating with flying colors is a blessing comes from failure, heartaches, heartbreaks and sleepless nights. We can be hopeless in this life but we must understand that this is only a shaping process. God never wastes anything. He would not give you abilities, gifts, personality, trials and pain unless he intended to use them for his glory. People come and go but they will leave us benchmark in our hearts. One day, you’ll be just a memory to other people so make sure to become a good one. Let me leave you with my favorite bible verse I learned from the most handsome varsity player sitting in front of me...”
