Shakespeare once said, "there are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio than are dreamt of in your philosophy".
Why do you suppose that most of us never have an encounter with the paranormal at any time in our lives? Do all the day to day things dominate us and beat us down so much that we do not have the energy to see what is around us? Are we not open to those darker parts of our world? Do we just not want to see? Whatever the reasons it does not happen to most of us.
I have always loved horror, the movies and books. Steven King and I have gone a lot places together. Guillermo Del Toro has amazed and terrified me. Mr. Tarbox from H P Lovecraft horrified me. And I could go on and on. But, nothing prepares you for what is real. Encountering the paranormal, ghosts, monsters for the first time. When you have lived for 65 years and never seen anything, and then there it is. This is my story about a first encounter. Please remember to vote. And I would love your comments, this is my first story. Thanks
