The First Day

"Yuh"  I yawned, it was a new day and the first day of school. l jumped out of bed and started to get ready. By the time I was ready it was time for school. So I hurried out the door. But right as I left the driveway my mom yelled"don't forget your breakfast!"Then l answered"one sec!"I hurried inside and grabbed my breakfast, which was a little piece of toast and again hurried out the door and ran out of my driveway. Finally I made it to school. A man was standing at the entrance. He was tall and had dark brown hair with green eyes. He looked down at me and said "you're late."Then I said"l am sor..ry Sir" somewhat intimidated. He then handed me a small card and said "you need a hall pass."He pointed inside the building and we walked in together. Then he shut the door behind us and pointed to the left, where my classroom was. l slowly walked down the hallway and crept up to the door and went in.
