Chapter 12

---

R-r-reacap

She jumped out of the car and I decided to do the same. I should talk to Jakob.

"Hey guys!" Cassie greeted.

Her and Sam said chatting at the door and I went in to talk to Jakob.

"He's in his room." Cassie said pointing up the stairs.

I walked up the what seems like endless saris but is only fifteen or twenty steps.

I slowly opened the door and my mouth hung open.

"Oh, uh. Abi. Hi?"

---

"Uh, this is Jen." He said. "I-I can explain." He stuttered.

I didn't ask for her name. Who does that even!

'Hey babe this is the girl I'm cheating on you with should we speak over dinner?'

I crossed my arms. "Okay, Jakob explain. Explain how you ended up on top of some girl making out in your bed." I laughed rolling my eyes.

His eyes stayed wide. "Uh-uh,"

"It's whatever." I shook my head. "We are over and done with." I shrugged.

"Wait Abi I need you." He said steeping towards me.

"You need me? Do you really?" I pointed to the girl on his bed missing her top. "I think you're pretty preoccupied."

"I-I, baby, I'm sorr-"

"Don't. Don't call me baby. Don't apologize because it will make no difference. Don't call me. Don't text me. Don't talk to me in anyway, shape or form. Don't even look at me. You make me sick!" I yelled pushing is almost naked body away from me.

I turned around and went down the stairs furiously wiping my tears.

"Alright let's go." I said shuffling past Sammie in the doorway.

------------------------------------------

The way to the field Sammie didn't ask me what happened upstairs. They most likely heard the whole thing anyways.

I sat on my couch, currently with 13 missed calls and counting from Jakob. I went through to delete them.

There's was a hard knock at the door.

"If you aren't the pizza guy go away!" I yelled.

The door opened letting the sunlight hit me in the face. I then realized who it was.

"Della? Why are you here?" I asked wiping a few stray tears not trying to embarrass myself. "Do you like it here in Ireland so far?"

She rolled her eyes. "I hate this little town."

"Oh." I said.

"So, you and Niall know each other for a while huh?"

I nodded. "As long as I could remember."

"And you guys never dated?"

I wish.

"Nope."

"Good. You had your chance."

I tilted my head to the side. "What?"

"I said you had your chance. So stay away from Niall."

"What?"

"God are you deaf!" She said shaking her head. "Sty away from Niall and we won't have any problems." She grimaced.

"Woah, woah, woah. How are you going to tell me to say away from my best friend?" I asked.

"Like I just did? Duh. And he's not you're best friend anymore." She smiled.

Why is she acting so happy like this.

"I know you like him. He's mine. So stay away."

She spun on her heel and left shutting the door behind her.

What.

------------------------------------------

"Who the hell is Jenny?" Maddy asked angrily.

I shrugged.

"God help that boy. If I ever see him, I will break him." She stood up clenching her fists.

I shook my head.

"To be honest. I don't care as much as I should." I shrugged.

She looked at me confused then suddenly reality hit her in the face. She nodded.

"He's still a, a, a asswipe." She pouted.

I barked with laughter. "Out of all things in the world you though of something equivalent to toilet paper!"

She tried to act serious but burst into laughter. This is why it's good to always, and I mean always, have a friend around.
