To say you loved junk food was an understatement. You NEEDED junk food in order to survive. The sugar was the only thing that got you through your long, hard work hours. You've tried to start a healthier lifestyle consisting of fruits and vegetables, but at the end of the day you were so exhausted because of the lack of sugar, that you decided that you would give up on that attempt and join the local gym in order to stay healthy. Exercise could be fun, right? Plus, your best friend Ludwig exercises there every morning and night. You knew he would give you the motivation you needed, so you called him up and asked him to give you a little push. He happily agreed, seeing as Feliciano never woke up on time and Kiku was too reserved and quiet even for Ludwig's liking.

However, as excited as you were about heading to the gym with your German companion, you never thought Ludwig got up as early as 4:30 on the dot to go work out. In addition, he didn't allow the quick sip of a Monster Energy Drink to wake you up.

"B-but, Luddy, you want me to work out, right?" You pleaded as the German took the unopened can from your weak grip. The blonde nodded, expression serious. "So, in order to do so, I need that drink to help me get that extra oomf!"

"Zhat's vhat protein shakes are for. Zhey're healzhy for you, and obviously not full of zhe fake crap zhat is in this measly can." Ludwig did have a point, and even though you wanted the drink, you understood that he was just trying to help you out.

"Alright, fine. Take it away, you monster!" Of course this was all in a joking manner. Ludwig just rolled his eyes, tucked the can in his duffel bag to bring home to his brother later, and started off towards the gym again.

"Ve'll start you off vith a beginner's program, just until you get into the routine." Ludwig really didn't waste anytime once he hit the gym's rubber mat floors. He instantly had the two of you by an free (though, must of the gym was empty, considering the time) bench press. "Ve're just going to start vith doing zhe incline press. For you, zhree sets of ten, but it'll be wizhout any veights. I'll spot you, you'll spot me, ja?"

"Yeah, okay. Whatever. Let's just get started." The sooner you started exercising, the sooner you could head over to McDonald's and grab some hotcakes from their breakfast menu.

"(Name), earth to (Name)?" You blinked, before sheepishly looking over at the German who was clearly waiting for you to get started. He had already adjusted the bar's height and removed the weights. You quickly scamper to the seat and grip the bar and try not to look straight into Ludwig's stern ice blue eyes- it felt as though they looked straight into your soul and saw that your head was stuck in the thoughts of devouring delicious golden cakes covered in nice, rich maple syrup...

You clear your throat and shake your head. "Right, here I go."

"You didn't start yet, (Name)." Your spotting partner looked down at you, looking a bit annoyed. You blush.

"I can't move it! It's too heavy!" You try again, muscles straining as you try to lift the bar up. "Guhhh. Working out is hard, Luddy!"

Ludwig sighed and made the 'move over' hand signal. You did as such, sliding off the bench. Ludwig took your place and lifted the weightless bar with such ease that it looked like he could throw it into the air as easy as chucking a measly pebble into a pond. Plus, you knew Ludwig was strong and has muscles, but you never realized how beautiful this man really was. You allowed your jaw to drop in awe. After doing what seemed to be a thousand easy lift-ups, Ludwig put the bar back and stood, turning to you. "It's not zhat bad vhen you get used to it. If you keep it up, I'm sure you'll get it in no time."
