Trespassing On Trouble

Chapter 14

Chapter 14: Lexi's POV:

As soon as the scary death trap known as a motorbike parked in front of school, I unwrapped my arms from the super tight grip from around Chase. After hopping off the bike I began rushing towards the school giving Chase a small wave from behind my shoulder.

Quickly getting to my locker, ignoring all of the stares from everyone else in the hallways, I grab out all of my books needed for my next classes from my locker. In my own world walking to my homeroom I grab the handle of a door and open the door to come face to face with a balding plump old man. I look from the old man to the room and notice that I'm in the wrong room.

'could this day get any worse' I think to myself and of course it could, the balding old man comes towards me and hands me a detention slip.

'oh great now I will have to spend even more time in this hell, thanks a lot' I think to myself than I hear a collection of gasps from the people in the room and notice the face of the old teacher in front of me become an extremely bright shade of red that it is pretty concerning.

"did I just say that out loud?" I ask the class and in reply I get a collection of people nodding their heads in my direction. Turning my gaze from my peers towards the teacher I give him a small salute and leave the classroom.

When I turn around I come face to face with Patrick and I realise that this was his class. 'of course it is'. I totally jinxed myself didn't I. I look into his eyes and he is frozen on the spot which I wouldn't exactly mind if he weren't in my way making me even later to class.

I snap my fingers in his face and he looks at me and starts apologising for what he did and blah blah blah. It is honestly getting so old. I just shove past him and walk off, not even bothering to look back in his direction.

After having the worst subject ever, I make my way down to the cafeteria and when I walk in I notice there are a few teachers in here standing on the small stage thing that is set up in the corner of the room. we normally get announcements when we are in here because everyone can sit easily so it makes the job for teachers so much easier.

I grab a slice of pizza and a can of lemonade and take a seat at an empty table. Later Chase joins me with a few other guys which I don't recognise but as I'm about to ask Chase who they are the teachers begin getting the attention of all of the students in the room.

"attention everyone" says the balding plump teacher from this morning "we have a very important announcement for everyone today". Everyone's gazes turn in the direction of the balding old teacher and the room goes silent clearly eager for the news.

"as some of you may know, there is a tradition that we used to have at this school, it was called the Belle Ball, this has been a tradition here at Kingston High school since it opened but with the last principle they discontinued it but we the school board have decided that it would be a great idea to bring it back"

Everyone cheers but is quickly quietened down by the teachers. "the Belle Ball will happen in two weeks and its tradition for the female to ask the male to the ball, we are handing out sheets with more information on the Belle Ball, thank you all for listening" the Balding teacher says.

When the teachers walk out everyone in the room erupts into talk about the ball. Honestly I could care less, I don't really feel like being in a room filled with a bunch of people who don't even like me so my mind is set and I'm not going.

Okay so don't hate me because I didn't update on Sunday but I got super busy and I kept on trying to write this chapter and nothing was working and so I came up with this.

It isn't exactly the best of my ability but I wanted to update and here it is.
