The Summer with Him

Ch 7

Asking soon as he suggested a movie I was happy. So we saw an animated film for fun. Yeah, I know childish, but I really needed it. During the movie I tried to get info on what else we were going to do but got nowhere. When the movie was finally overnight he still wouldn't tell me anything and it was frustrating.

"Come on. Just a little hint." I begged him and trust me I hate tto beg.

"No, well maybe." He teased.

"Tell me." I pleaded.

"We have been there before. That's all I am going to say." He said.

"But that doesn't mean anything. We have been to lots of places." I said annoyed.

He walked away laughing at my frustration and I didn't like it. Ue didn't tell me anything because we have been everywhere and I don't know where he is talking about. I went along with it and we headed off to the next thing whatever it is.

We walked for an hour but when we got to where we were going I was shocked. We were walking on the beach and through the rocks and we come to a secret pool of water. I haven't been here in years. "Wow this is amazing.." I said.

"I knew you would like it." He said.

When Britt started dating Joe, Max and I were still barely teens we explored everywhere. One day we found this spot and said it would be our secret. We never saw anyone come around and we never anyone about it.

"I can't believe we are back here." I said "it's been awhile."

"Well I figured you wanted to get away and this would be the perfect spot." He said.

I was truely amazed and excited to be back here again.  You were right and thank you for this." I said.

"So there will be a picnic and a little swimming. It'll be fun and wecan truely catch-up." He said.

I decided I wanted to swim first since we were just at the movies and had a bunch if snacks. The waterwas the perfect temperature and it felt great. I was having fun in the water when Max had other ideas of fun.

He was starting to get playful but in a rough kinda way. "Max don't you dare start with me." I said laughing.

"I'm just kidding around and you know how much I like to annoy you." He said splashing me. I knew he was jusy playing around and so I decided to play along.

I started to splash back him and then he decided we should play marco polo. This game is so annoying because he always cheats and gets out of the water. Totally not fair.

I was gunna get him this time I made him be it first. (Wow this just sounded like we were in elementry.) We exchanged answering each other a few times, when I decided to get back at him I didn't answer. I noticed he opened his eyes so I went under.

He didn't see me so my plan was working. He was searchingfir me and when he got close enough I jumped up and scared him.

It was hilarious he was scared and everything. His face was priceless that I wish I had a camera for that moment. This was one of my new favorite moments with Max.

"What the hell. Son not cool." He said annoyed.

I couldn't stop laughing but I finally caught my breath to say "omg, you should have seen your face. It was hilarious."

"Oh haha laugh it up but remember I will get you back." He said pointing at me. "That's a promise."

"Ooh I'm so scared." I said sarcastically.

"You should be. Trust me." He said.

I knew he meant it but I was enjoying this too much to care. He was so mad but he got over it quick and I was glad. "So, are you ready to eat?" He asked.
