Hey, so this is some random thing that I'm thinking up for Halloween! Happy Halloween guys! So the reason I'm doing this is because I was just sitting on my butt and I said to myself "Get off your lazy butt and give those wonderful readers something! You lazy birch tree you haven't given them anything good in a while!" So I decided I'd try my hand in something different...

She stumbled through the dark halls, dazed from what she had seen. It didn't seem real, the loud shot, the ear piercing scream, the gut wrenching thud. Only seconds ago she was having a great time, partying in her amazing Halloween costume with her boyfriend, just to have it all stop. Just that one sound had stopped what seemed like an unstoppable party.

She reached the all too familiar door. She jerked it open not hesitating to run in and quietly slam it shut. The small room was one that no one knew of, the door blended in with the wall, covered by wallpaper. The side of the door that she faced now was covered in scratches, stains of blood and tears, and little drawings of hope that never seemed to stay. Turning around she took in the barren room, blank black walls covered with the same types of things as the door, dulled wooden floor with various shredded and torn rugs, only one window, curtains drawn tight. The lone beanbag that had gone missing from the daycare was seated in the corner, away from the door, hidden unless one looked.

The girl took a seat, waiting for the sound of sirens and shouting, but it never came. She stayed in that room for months, anyone trying to look for her never thought of a hidden room, so she was never found...at least not by a human.

"Hello." Was heard in the room, the hoarse voice echoed a few times before dying away. It sounded male, and as if it hadn't been used in a while. The girl was scared stiff, she didn't move and her senses were on high alert. Had someone found her? Was it him? Did she blow her own cover?

"Cassie...I know you heard me...Cas my sweet, sweet angel." Only one person called her 'angel', the one who had saved her from the deadly fate of past events. She feared speaking, if he were there he'd surely hear her and do as he wished. So she stayed quiet, waiting for whom ever it was to leave.

"Angel...you're safe...he's not here anymore...talk to me and I'll tell you what happened in...in the months you've missed." That was all she needed to hear. She was safe. He wasn't here anymore. The faintest smile spread across her chapped lips. Her darkened eyes seemed to lighten a bit and a slight sparkle was set into them.

"Is that really you?" Was all she could get out, the lack of use and water made each word labored when she spoke.

"Darling, angel, sweetheart it is me and always will be me. I'll never leave you. When you die we will go and live together in the great beyond." The voice said, she started to tear up hearing this.

"I missed you so much baby." She whispered as tears slipped down her cheeks. A sudden breeze blew through the room blowing her hair into her face. She hurriedly got her hair out of the way once the wind stopped, what she saw spooked her.

"Heh, didn't know I could do that." There was the form of a person in front of her, but not just any person, the form of her boyfriend who was killed that night long ago. "So how've you been? You seem to have not eaten, slept, or drank anything in months."

"That's because I haven't. I couldn't bare to leave this room. I'm lucky I always hid food and water in here incase anything like this happened...and it did." She mumbled as fresh tears peeked out of the corners of her eyes.

"Well I'm here now. I'll get you something before I start the story." With that her love was gone. He had vanished into thin air, as billions of thoughts raced through her mind. Her wonderful love was back. His midnight black hair was still falling into his electric blue eyes, he still had the skeleton face paint from that night, along with his costume. She was still in her skin tight skeleton costume from that night, but it had become less skin tight as she has lost weight. Her once neat pigtails were gone, turned into one big, messy, brown mop.

She heard a slight popping sound as her love reappeared with McDonald's. "Hey, the perks are still here from working there." He choked out a laugh as he handed her the food. "Eat up. You need it, you've lost so much weight."

"Thank you, Dylan." She said in between bites of food. "How the hell did you even get this?" She asked once she finished her food.

"Well a nice cashier left some food on the counter of McDonald's so he could go fetch his coat and I scooped it up while he was gone. I think it was for his family but I'm not sure." He said beaming.

"Wow. Never thought that would happen..." She pauses, "How long has it been?"

"Well...it's been about 4 months...yeah, that's about right." He says quietly.

"Wow...what happened after I ran?" She asks timidly.

"Get comfy angel, it's a long story." He says sweeping his hair out of his face.
