Hi I'm Samantha buuut I like to be known as Sam much to the annoyance of my uncle-what does he even have to do with it?

Anyways I live in India, my great great grandfather moved here for whatsoever reason, I don't know but I like it here and have become a completely Desi Indian. right now I'm waiting for my friend to come to my place so that we could do our project our teacher gave us.

So about me...well I've moved from Delhi, where I had an excellent reputation, to Ahmedabad in this school where I'm considered a shy stupid girl. Well i cant deny the fact that i was quiet over there too but no one considered me shy, but there were 50 students there and over here they are only 13 so its a change but i with such a number of students there i had made a nice reputation for my self. its not like boys didn't tease me (well they do that to every one and ....i don't mind) nor was my reputation as good as my buddy Sally but still there were my kind of people, so it was good.

Over here...well these kids don't know the world. They're so sensitive type, like they get troubled by every single thing and afterwards say they're short tempered ...wow.

Plus this school, it's all English and the study level is also high but I topped it, I have no idea how 'cause I wasn't exactly the best in my earlier School, but well the whole thing is different and if I want to go abroad to study and do something useful then I'll have to sacrifice. But my older school was 5 times bigger than this and with all sports facilities it was awesome but this place is easy so...

Tring tring. I look at the caller's ID it's my friend her name's Tya ...yeah wierd name but all other same genders are like...let's say they aren't the brightest.

"Hello" a voice says. "Hey Tya, you comming" she was supposed to come on Saturday too but left without calling to let me know. Whoa I am getting angry, but hey its not my fault my time of the month decided it was a good idea to drop in.

Anyways,"yes" came the reply, she's a total...you get it.

"Could you come and get me? I'm down because I don't know your flat no." She continued in her British accent. Shes come from London you see. I have lived in India from birth but because of my rapid English speaking I have a slight American accent. Im not even sure if it's American accent or just a bit too much of tongue rolling...

"Sure" I replied before hanging up.

I went out after seeing my reflection in the mirror. My hair looked like a birds nest tied up in a bun. Thinking what her dad will say I quickly opened and retied them in a ponytail. My boobs looked extra big for I had forgot to wear my bra and secondly my top was extra tight. Still I went downstairs.

Arriving down I asked the ' kids' who lived in our society. They were like about from 4- 9 maybe 10 but they were like super childish.

"Have you seen a girl around this much" marking I know height sounds stupid but they won't relate if I say age 'cause I'm like 5'4 and she'd be around 4'9 or so.

She shook her head " No Sam didi " she says looking over my shoulder.

"Samantha I'm here" Came Feni's voice.

I looked around to see Feni along with, who seems to be her mother and her sister. I recognized her sister as she looked just like her in the photo used in her ID card.

I hate ID cards, also they make so many School logos on the uniform you don't even feel like walking out without a hood. But there you have Tya, the nerd everything according to school rules, she isn't your typical nerd I'll tell you more later Tya's coming towards me.

I gave a acknowledging nod towards her mother who didn't even notice, smiled at her sister just as Tya came next to me.

"D'ya have chart paper", I asked, leading her to the elevator waiting to meet a completely new soul.
