Summary
Yui is at the chapel praying and finding sanctuary here because she believes the vampires dislike this place, although she realizes that they aren't harmed by the usual clichés. Ayato finds her while she's praying with her rosary and she can choose to "use it on him" or "hide it in her pocket" in case it hurts him. If she chooses to hide it, Ayato finds her actions suspicious and wrestles the rosary out of her pocket because he wants to know what it is but she won't show him. He hisses at the sight of the rosary and tosses it away while admitting that it makes him feel terrible. He wants her to take responsibility for making him feel that way and so he starts to kiss her. He torments her about how "her beloved God" is watching and then he wants her to swear not to come in here ever again. When she doesn't immediately swear it until Ayato decides to have sex in the chapel where her God can see. Yui gives up in the end and swears never to come here again.
Yui knows not to think of Ayato's words as jealousy towards God. He just wants to monopolize his favorite toy.
Translation(Yui's POV)~
Yui: ......
Yui: (My heart calms... offering prayers to God like this)
Yui: (Because lately my heart has only been confused)
Yui: (If I'm here then Ayato-kun won't come, right? Because he's a vampire)
(door slam)
Yui: ......?
Ayato: You're... stiiill doing this thing?
Yui: Eh...?
Yui: (W-Why... Aren't vampires weak to churches...)
Yui: (Ah, but the rosary was meaningless...)
Ayato: What? Why do you have a surprised look on your face?
Yui: ......
>> If you choose to take out the rosary to "attack" Ayato~
(thudding sound)
Yui: Ei!
Ayato: Aa? What are you doing bastard!
Yui: ... What, as I thought there's no effect...
Ayato: Keh, as if a mere cross could scare me, idiot.
Ayato: Lately, I thought you were understanding it. You're someone who doesn't learn, huh.
Ayato: ... But... looking at that pisses me off...!
