Chapter 5

“Where is Dean? He said he would come and say goodbye?” Bella asked while at the airport with Jake. The final call went off on the loud speaker for her flight.

“Bella, please don’t go.” “Jake this decision has been so hard for me but this might be my big break to do something I’ll love doing, if I don’t go I’ll probably end up working at an old diner stuck here.”

“I’m going to miss you so much.” Jake whispered while rubbing her face. “We may not be dating any more…” she stared shedding tears.” But I’ll always remember you as my first love and that this is because of you and I still love you.” She started getting even tearier.

Bella kissed him then ran off to catch her flight.

“I love you too.” He said quietly while watching her walk off.

Jake started leaving and then saw Dean get off the bus running to the airport. Jake stopped him. “Dean she left.”

Dean had bruises all over his face and had blood on his eyebrow.

“My only friend and she’s gone. The only person who cares about me. Great.” Dean leaned against the wall and sat down held his face and started crying right in front of Jake. “Dean what happened you’re bleeding?”

“Nothing don’t worry.” Jake looked at him in suspicion. “My car is right over there I’ll drive you home.”

It was silent for most the car ride then Dean said something. “Your friends, they’ve been beating me up and throwing me in the dump every single day.”

Jake just sat there. He didn’t know what to say.

That afternoon at Clava

Sophie was sitting down by herself while reading a magazine when Nick came in and started talking to her. “Hey Sophie!” “Hey Nick? What do you want?”

“What do you mean what do you want can’t I just have a nice chat with a pretty girl like you?” He said while smiling. She blushed. “Yeah I guess.”

“What are you doing tonight?” He asked. “Wait hang on one second. I’m guessing you either want revenge on someone, trying to make another girl jealous or you’re trying to have sex with me. Now which one is it?”

“None of them! I just want to get to know you because I really like you.” He started walking off. “Fine! I’ll be at your house at 7.”

Nick’s house

“Nick don’t you dare tell anyone we have been do this or I will kill you.”                Isla said after having sex with him for the second time this month.

“Nah I won’t cause you better not tell anyone either. I have a date with Sophie tonight and I want it to go well.” He said with hesitation. “She’s going to find out sooner or later.” “Yeah well she better not because I wanna root her as well.”

“You’re not gonna ‘root’ anyone if you keep calling it that.” Nick rolled his eyes. “Just put in a good word for me.”

Isla walked out the front door and right across the street was Howard walking his dog. She sprinted over to him.

“Heyyyyy Howeyyyy.” She said all chappie. “Stop calling me that ok my name is Howard.” She laughed and said ok. “It’s not funny Isla. You’re such a leach you never leave me alone. I don’t want to go out with you ok. You seem like a bitch and you’re not even hot.”

She stared at him with anger and slapped him. “F**K YOU” and walked home from there.

Nick saw everything and ran out to Howard. “What do you want” Howard said. “You don’t realise what you just did.”

Howard was confused. “What do you mean?” “She’s gonna make your life a living hell.”

Next day at school

Howard walked into school and everybody just stared at him. When he said hi people would just ignore him. Howard walked over so Isla Kiara and Sophie. “What the hell did you do?”

“Well I thought I’d tell everybody a little secret.” “What?!” Howard was getting worried.

“I said that you invited me to your house even though I said no multiple times and then when I got there you answered the door naked, said you wanted me but I said no because your dick was too small.” “But that didn’t even happen?” “I know. But who’s gonna believe you?”

Howard started walking off. Then turned around and shouted so everybody could hear, “Isla having a flat chest isn’t something to be worried about, its all the contagious pimples on your back that will scare the boys away.” Then turned around and walked away while everybody started at Isla laughing.

Few hours into Nick and Sophie’s date.

“I’ve had so much fun with you tonight nick! I thought you would say really stupid stuff and be a dick all night long but youre nothing like that.” Sophie was really starting to like him. “People say a lot about me even though none of its true. Thanks for really understanding me Sophie.”

He leaned in and they started kissing for a while then nick reached for her zip at the back of her dress. “Maybe once we get to know each other more Nick.” He was unhappy that she said that but did a fake smile to make it look like he was ok with that.

“Nick can I ask you something?” He was annoyed that they had to stop kissing again. “Um yeah sure” “You know how Kiara lives next door to you?” “Yeah so?” “She said she saw Isla go to your house and she thought you guys had sex but I don’t believe her.”

“Yeah of course we didn’t have sex she’s just a friend… and I like you so I wouldn’t just cheat on you like that.” “You like me?” she had a big smile on her face. “Yeah I do.”

The next day at Isla’s house

“Why are you here Nick?” “Sophie said that Kiara saw you come to my house and Kiara thinks we had sex.”

“Who even cares why do you want to have it with Sophie so bad anyway?” “Because she has big boobs, big butt and guys say she is just that best ever at sex.” “Ew you boys are so stupid. Leave my house now.”
