NARRATOR P.O.V

Leroy was a 17 year old mess. His emotions were all over the place and so was his hair. He was short and had deep brown eyes. His hair was curly and brown with hints of gold running through it.

On this certain day it was a Monday and everyone knows that a Monday means first day back at school for the week. So Leroy hesitantly got out of bed and dragged himself to the bathroom and splashed his face with water. He picked up a blue and green toothbrush and squirted a small thin line of toothpaste onto the tip and placed it into his mouth. He started brushing and 2 minutes later he was done. He wiped his mouth and continued on into his bedroom.

He looked on the floor and grabbed a red, blue and green checkered shirt and a white t-shirt and placed them on his bed. Then he picked up a pair of clean underpants and ripped jeans. He pulled the white t-shirt over his head and then put the checkered shirt on. Then he took his old boxers off and put the new ones on, and pulled up the jeans. Grabbing his bag and stuffing it with school supplies, he ran down the spiraled stair case.

From across the room he could see a glamorous women. She looked like she was in her 40s and greeted Leroy with a smile. "Hi Mum" he said. She pulled him into an embrace and replied "Morning Darling". He could smell her strong perfume and smiled back.

A few moments past. "I asked Mildred to prepare you pancakes" she claimed. Leroy turned to his right and peeked his head through the kitchen doorway.

A small grey haired women stood mixing a bowl that he assumed had pancake batter in it and next to her were strawberries and chocolate sauce. His stomach let out a moan. The smell of pancakes was unbearable and he edged closer. "Your lunch is in the fridge" her voice was sharp and direct. "Uh..umm thank you Mildred" he replied. He waited some more, the pains grew stronger and his stomach couldn't take it anymore. A gush of cold air blew out of the fridge, slowly tip toeing down his spine, making him shiver. As he grabbed his lunch from the top shelf a voice called, it was Mildred. "Breakfast is ready!" He clenched his fist and mouthed a 'yes'.

After eating his breakfast he heard the faint noise of a bus pulling up in front on his house, he opened the front door and saw the school bus perched on the side of the road. It was a magnificent yellow and had recently been cleaned. He grabbed his black converse shoes and a pair of striped socks and put them on his feet then he picked up his bag and ran towards the bus.

Leroy was a popular boy so when he stepped onto the bus a rawr of cheers filled his ears. He started walking to the back of the bus where a seat was waiting for him next to a girl. She was pretty and delicate. Golden blonde hair covered her shoulders and back and she had heavy makeup on which suited her face. He sat down and she leaned towards him and pressed her bright pink lips against his. After a couple of seconds their lips parted and Leroy looked up. He wondered why the bus hadn't gone straight away for he was the only one who lived on his street that was under the age of 18. Then someone walked onto the bus, Leroy couldn't help but stare. He was handsome, very handsome in fact. He had deep sea blue eyes which pierced through Leroy's chest and blonde hair which was shiny and perfect. His smile was enough to melt Leroy's heart. What were these feelings he was having? He ignored them and looked away.
