Tai's pov
I wake the next morning completely worn out and I haven't the slightest clue why but I get out of bed and very lazily get dressed
I head downstairs and grab an apple as I leave to begin my walk to school my mother stops me " Manny can I talk to you for a sec?"
I freeze in front of the door my hand gripping the knob "yea mom sure what's up?" My mom sits me on the couch and I'm kinda anxious about what she'll say next
" So you and Nick are a thing I see and I just wanted to say.......I'm so happy for you!!!!" She quickly grabs me in an extremely tight hug as she shows her excitement
"Thanks mom I'm glad you can understand...but dad" she cuts me off and tells me not to worry about him and to have a good day at school I then leave and walk towards the school
Nick's pov
I sit at the lunch table believe it or not drinking Starbucks I don't usually do but I'm drained so I need it
I put my head down as I wait for Tai to get to school and I doze in and out of sleep
I get a text from him and pull out my phone nearly dropping it and I frown when I open it
Tai💗💗: Hey sorry I'm running late didn't wake up on time im omw now don't wait up I promise I'll make it up to u love u 💋💓💏😘
I smile a bit and I melt into the crowd of kids heading to class once in my classroom I plop down in the back row of the desks without saying a word
First period drags on slowly and I don't see Tai until lunch and I immediately wrap my arms around him in a tight embrace
Tai's pov
I hold onto Nick tightly and kiss his head as I let go I smile at him and hold up my mom's car keys "I told you I would make it up to you and I'm taking you to Olive garden for lunch since we have an hour or so"
Nick takes my hand and I lead him to the car proudly walking down the hall once we get outside I open his door and let him in and I jog around to the driver's side happily starting the car
As we eat lunch we talk about events of the day I take his hand and kiss his cheek "I have something for you handsome
Nick's pov
I stare at Tai confused and i give a small smirk " and what would that be" he grabs his backpack and stares at me for a minute
He then pulls out a small box and proudly hands it to me and says "open it" I flip the lid up and I gasp softly as I look down at a set of bracelets with both me and Tai's name on them each with a heart at the end
I smile brightly and kiss him "thank you they're beautiful"
Tai's pov
I take the bracelet with my name out of the box and put it around his wrist and fix it so he can see my name "there now this way we will always be together"
We kiss once more as he puts my bracelet around my wrist we finish our food I pay and we leave hand in hand
Once we get back in the school we part ways at least until practice later I watch him walk away as happy as can be and I look at my wrist thinking to myself please let dinner with my parents next week go well......
