Chapter 10: A Fateful Encounter!

It was the day after I had my battle with Barry and I was up and ready for today's gym battle well thats what I thought anyway.

Hey! Just like the morning sun thats shining brightly over Sinnoh. (Our burning hearts are hotter than a flame charge!)

Yeah! We're all prepared and so you'll never see us run from chaos. (Breaking the mold will let our passion Discharge)

All of our feelings overlap, yeah we are always synchronized.
Cause we formed a bond that will never disappear
And I know that I will never shed a tear
As long as you're here (wowowo yeah yeah!)

So let'Z go! We're growing as the battle's raging on
And you know! That defeat's an opportunity
To grow! We're never giving up
Our determination is what makes us strong
Yeah determination is what makes us strong!

Now let'Z go! We will fulfill this dream with all we have
So let'Z go! And we'll prove that we can catch them all!
Let'Z go! Keep fighting with your heart
And you're certain that your future will be bright

So! Let'Z turn it up now (Shock them like a Thunderbolt)
Go! Keep standing tall and if we're fighting as a team, stronger than a Hyper Beam, we will be surpassing our dreams!

I was standing in front of Dakota and Leaf "What!?" Leaf smiled "I'm gonna challenge the Canilave City Gym first and Dakota will take go next, your going last."

"Wait wait, when was this decided?" Dakota gave an innocent smile "Last night."

My left eye twitched a little before sighed "Very well then I guess it's ladies first, good luck girls." They smiled at me before walking out of the Pokemon Center.

I walked over to Nurse Joy wbo was behind the counter "Have you seen a Trainer named Barry anywhere?"

"I'm sorry Barry left just awhile ago, he's headed to Iron Island." I sighed a little and looked around Not seeing Denzil and the others (Probably went to watch Dakota's and Leaf's Gym Battle.) I walked back up to my room seeing Pikachu and Gardevoir waking with determination (Welp time to break it to them.)

2 Minutes Later...

They both had disappointed look on their face "So yea, we gotta wait even more to battle the gym." Gardevoir sighed then had a smile on her face "Well we may as well use this time to look around Canalave City."

I looked at her and smiled at her "Thats a great idea, Gardrvoir." Pikachu hopped on my shoulders as Gardevoir seemed to be lost in thought.

I looked at her as I had gotten my things ready "Hey Gardevoir, you okay?" She shook her head a little and smiled "Yea, I'm fine lets get going." She walked out of the door and me and Pikachu looked at each other wondering what could be on her mind as we walked out the door heading into Canalave City.
