"This is so stupid," I say, opening the changing room curtain harshly and stepping out into the light, wearing a pink frilly shirt with a black blazer that has unnecessarily long tail ends and flared trousers.
Dan shoves his hand over his mouth, but his eyes fill with tears and he just bursts into laughter.
I throw my bow tie at him, but I start laughing too.
I look absolutely ridiculous.
"This is what they want you to wear?" Dan asks, and I pull a long face in an attempt to stop laughing.
"This is what they want US to wear, don't think you're getting away with this." Dan groans. "Apparently it matches the theme."
"What kind of fucking theme do they have? Jesus Christ!"
"I am seriously thinking about going naked," I state, making a posh, middle-aged woman stare at me bizarrely and walk out of the shop.
"Please do." Dan grins.
"Get your mind out of the gutter, you freak."
"I'm not the one looking like I'm from My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding."
I splutter and then groan. "Oh God. Well, I'm NOT wearing this for the engagement party. Or for the after party. I guess I will have to wear it for the ceremony though."
"So we're gonna rent a tuxedo."
"Yeah."
"Cool." Dan gets up and walks over, smoothing my suit down and looking into my eyes. "One things for sure, you are not going down the isle in that for our wedding." He winks and closes the curtain on me.
I can't help but grin stupidly at that.

I knock on Phils apartment, and when it's been about five minutes and he still hasn't let me in, I root for my keys in my bag. I'm about to put them into the key hole and he opens the door.
"Timing," I say sarcastically. "Hello." I kiss him and he smiles, looking down at his phone.
"What ya doing?" I ask.
"Finding flats for us."
"Oo, anything interesting?"
"One place does look promising," Phil picks up his laptop, changes the tab and flicks through a lovely flat, that looks modern and big enough for two.
"Yep. Want it. That one. Yep." I say and he giggles, sticking his tongue out. I run my fingers through his hair lovingly and he turns to me. I grin and kiss him. His lips are soft and sweet and I savour very second our lips are in contact.
"I love us." Phil exclaims and I chuckle. "You."
"I love us, too." Then after a moment, "You."
We both pick up the message and we kiss some more. This time adding a bit more contact, and, honestly, kissing Phil is my most favourite thing in the entire world. Apart from Phil himself.
"Should we go look at it then? I could ring up now."
"Go on then."
He skips off to his room to make the call and I grin. The letterbox sounds and a silver envelope falls to the floor. I go and pick it up, read the fancy, cursive lettering that reads "To Phil and Dan" and I know exactly what it is.
