Chapter 32: Don't freak out

*Jade's P.O.V.*

I heard shuffling and it woke me up. I saw my door was closed and there were some lights on outside of my room. I got up and opened my door. I saw Andy and Juliet getting ready to leave. They hadn't noticed me yet.

"Should I say goodbye?" Andy asked.

"Yes! I'll come with you." Juliet said.

They turned and saw me peering out.

"Hey Jade. We're leaving." Andy said.

"I see that." I said.

"We love you so much." Andy said.

I hugged him and started crying.

"I don't want you to leave." I said.

"I know, but I'll be back before you know it." He said.

"I'm sorry I was mad at you last night." I said.

"It's okay, I understand." He said.

He hugged for a little longer and then I went and said my goodbyes to Juliet. We hugged as well and then CC showed up.

"Hey guys." He said.

"Alright, we need to go now. We love you, behave, if you need anything, feel free to call anytime. We might not be able to answer always but text or leave a message." Andy said.

"Okay." I said.

"Bye." They said.

They left and it was just CC and I.

"You can go back to sleep. I know you have school. Do you wanna stay home today?" CC asked.

"No, I need to go. It's only Wednesday, I'm gonna go back to bed." I said.

"Okay, I'm just gonna crash on the couch. Wake me up when you get up." He said.

"Okay." I said.

I went back to bed for a couple of hours. My alarm went off and I forced myself to get up even though I didn't want to. I woke up CC and did my morning routine. He dropped me off at school and I ran my normal schedule. Nothing exciting happened today, just a normal Wednesday. The bell rang and school was dismissed.

"Bye Jade, see you tomorrow." Sky said.

"Bye, see you tomorrow." I said.

I went to the pick up and got into CC's truck. We first drove to my house to get all of my stuff. We then drove to CC's house. Right as we got there, a school bus was dropping a kid off. I had started bringing some of my stuff in. I went back out to the truck and recognized the kid.

"Oh my god, that's Sky." I said.

"Who?" CC asked.

"Sky, he's from school." I said.

"Oh, is that one of your friends?" CC asked.

"Yeah, does he live there?" I asked.

"I guess so, I've seen him around once in a while." He said.

"Should I say hi?" I asked.

"Sure." He said.

"Hey Sky!" I yelled.

He turned to face me.

"Jade?" Sky asked.

I went over to the edge of the yard.

"What are you doing at my neighbor's house?" Sky asked.

"Oh, CC lives here." I said.

"CC?" He asked.
