~Chapter 1~

Annie~

I was wondering the streets of Seoul trying to find this building called JYP Entertainment.

I asked this old lady that luckily knew where it was, and she told me it was around here somewhere.

I am happy I found a company that's willing to accept me.

My name is Park Annie, my father is Korean and my mother is English. That's why I can speak both English and Korean, since I was living in England for fifteen years of my life and dad used to teach me Korean and I used it alot while conversing with my grandparents.

I used to come to Korea once a year to visit my grandparents. One time, I heard a song which I really liked. I asked dad who were those people and he said they're idols, a group called SHINee and the song called Lucifer.

The song was really catchy and I liked the dance. Since then I got obsessed with Korean idol groups specially SHINee. I became there dying fan.

I can sing, dance and rap. But my speciality is dancing. I've liked dancing since I was a little girl. I attended a lot of dance lessons since I was five and I really enjoy it.

Finally, I found the building. There were alot of posters of idol groups made by this company, I could recognize Wonder Girls and 2PM since they were the only groups I knew in JYP entertainment.

I entered the building, the reception area was deserted, it's the audition today, right? Or did I mix up the dates again?

"Excuse me, I am Park Annie, isn't today the audition's date or am I mistaken?" I asked the receptionist, she looked at me and gave me a warm smile.

"We were expecting you dear, the president is waiting for you in his office, I will escort you there, follow me." she said gesturing me to start walking, she started walking and I followed beside her.

"Am I the only one auditioning?" I asked and she nodded.

"It's not an audition, you were casted by our directors darling." She said and I nodded understanding.

"Here you are darling, good luck." she said as she knocked the door.

"Park PD-nim, Park Annie is here for the audition, sir." she said and I heard a "come in" from inside. She gestured me to enter and gave me one of her warm smiles and mouthed a 'Good luck' and a wink, I smiled back and walked inside the office, the door closed behind me.

A guy in his forties was sitting in front of a desk working on his computer.

"Welcome to JYPE! I am the CEO, Park Jinyoung a.k.a J.Y.Park, nice to meet you Annie." he said with a friendly smile, which looked like a father's warm smile, welcoming and cozy. I am looking forward to training here.

"Nice to meet you too, PD-nim, I hope you like my preformance." I said bowing 90 degrees. I heard him chuckling.

"It's okay Annie, I can see you're talented, just show me a dance that you know and a song you can sing. But not here of course, let's go to one of the practice rooms, Kay?" he said and stood up gesturing to the door.

I nodded and followed him outside. It's either I am short or this guy is really tall, I guess I am short though, sigh.

"What's wrong? Are you nervous?" JYP asked suddenly, I think because I was sighing.

"No, I am not, sir." I answered while shaking my head.

"Then why did you sigh?" he asked as we took the stairs downwards.

"Ah, I just was thinking about me being short or you're either so tall." I said honestly which made him chuckle yet again.

"You're so honest Annie, I like that in you." he said which made me smile, this guy is really comfortable to talk to, he is not as bossy as most of the CEOs I met these past days.

"Thank you, sir, that's a great compliment." I said while smiling as we stopped in front of one of the many doors in the hallway, written on it with bold 'Dance Practice'. Guess we are here.
