Something loud woke me up. I was in my small cabin on the large luxery cruise ship.
I got myself out of bed lazily.
I looked around, confused. The noise was still ringing in my ears. I opened the cabins small door and emerged into a long, cramped hallway.
The lights were flashing red.
That couldn't be a good sign.
I squeezed through the packed hallway and moved above deck. The whole ship rocked as water crashed into the side of the ship. I had to steady myself but the ship was hit by a large wave that soaked the deck.
I fell over and slid down the side of the wet deck before a man caught my hand.
" Get on the lifeboat! " He yelled, barely heard over the waves and wind. I followed him to a life boat.
The shop was hit by another wave and one side was under water, the ropes on the lifeboat snapped. The people that were on the lifeboat were lucky, as the life boat hit the water and floated.
The people still on the cruise ship though.
Were doomed.
