So as I was saying in the previous chapter...
The next morning we woke up and hiked to our next campsite. There is not really a funny story from that hike so I will skip to that evening when we got there. So when we got there me, Jenifer and Jessica set up out tent. After we set up our tent we made a outhouse.
Our homemade outhouse was made out of a fallen down log. It had moss on the toilette for comfort, and sticks in the front to block peoples view. It was the kings throne!
The next morning we got up, ate a yummy breakfast of oatmeal, and occupied the outhouse.
All day we played games like capture the flag, cops and robbers (which resulted in injuries), and climbing up tree hill.
Cops and robbers resulted in injuries because us smart girls set up our guy lines(the strings to hold out the fly) to far out. Jessica was chasing Bryan and Bryan tripped over the guy lines and fell. When he fell his hand got jabbed into a stick and he got a big hole on his hand. He didn't have to write anything in school for a week!
Anyways, getting back to the turd topic.
So after the day of games we sat down around the fire. Jenifer had to go to the homemade outhouse, so she announced it to me and Jessica , then left.
Not even 2 minutes later Jenifer comes running back to tell us that there's something green on the outhouse log. So me and Jessica go to take a look.
When we get there we notice a big, fat, slimy, green, TURD. GROSS!!! The first thought that comes to me is that that person must of ate a lot of green koolade. After that we couldn't just leave a mystery undiscovered, so we set out on a hunt for the person guilty of this crime. We knew we would not use that outhouse again.
After asking many people and not finding the guilty person, we gave up.
Now you know how we got our patrol name, "the green turds".
