The wailing alarm rang in desperate series as Emily woke up, placing a hand to her head. "God. What happened last night?" She questioned, thinking she was talking to herself. "You don't remember, do you, love? Hm. Never knew that this whiskey would've set you off like that." The tanned, young man replied, startling Emily. "What the he- How did you-" All that came out was blubbering gibberish. "Come on, love. Speak English." The man smiled, rubbing his hand on the young woman's back. "I gotta get outta here." Emily scurried out of the Queen bed, scrambling to grab all of her clothes. "Emily, where are you going? I thought you had fun." Mark frowned, watching the woman in confusion. "I did not have fun at all, Mr. Shepard." She grumbled, trying to pull her jeans onto her skinny body. Emily saw the frowned look on Mark's face but didn't budge. "Good day, Mr. Shepard." As she walked out of the room, a vast quiet struck the two humans. It was a one night stand, Emily. This man couldn't possibly love you. He's a player. A mean, manipulative man. She told herself but really didn't give in. She let out a small sigh before turning to face Mark Shepard. "I'm sorry, Mark. I- I mean Mr. Shepard." Mark forced a smile on his face as the young woman stuttered. "Please, please. Call me Mark. Besides, there's no need for that nonsense." Emily smiled as she walked back to the tanned man, placing her body back onto the bed. "Do you, uh, mind explaining what happened last night?" Emily questioned, trailing her gaze up to the man's green eyes. "Of course, love. Well, first you got drunk at the dance last night. Drank too much wine. It was red to be exact. And you started to flirt with me and you asked me if I wanted to go to the bedroom with you and I agreed. Then we ended up in here." A gleeful smile was placed on Mark's face like he enjoyed this. Contemptibly, he did. Emily shook her head in shame. What would mother do to me? She questioned herself before trailing her gaze to the floor. "I bet my mother will be ashamed of me when I tell her this." Mark furrowed his eyebrows and groped his hand onto Emily's arm, clenching it hard. "You will not tell anyone about this, got it?" He whispered forceful words into her ear, sending a shiver down Emily's spine. She nodded in agreement before Mark shoved her off the bed. "Get dressed." Mark imperatively demanded her to do so. I gotta get out of here.
