Lori had laid her head upon the cold, metal desk. It had been a few hours before her best friends boyfriend, David, had died. She wasn't even sure who had killed him. She was shooken up. All she knew was that she was stuck at a cold, boring police station. Lori had over heard the cops say a name. Lori, with her head still rested on her hands upon the table kept muttering to herself, "What was the name...? Come on, what's the damn name?"
Her eyes opened wide with realization, "Freddy..."
She raised her head up with a sudden jerk, looking around. No one was there in the station. Lori got up out of her chair and tried to get out of the station. She walked into a dark hallway with blinking lights, flickering off and on. As she walked out and into a hallway, drops of crimson blood fell from the ceiling. She walked a bit faster. On her way she hadn't noticed the missing children posters hanging on the wall watching her. The children in the posters shook their head with sadness and disappointment. Those kids were victims of Freddy's attacks. They knew what was going to happen to her.
Lori heard a little cry, like a child's cry. She turned the corner and saw a small girl leaning against the wall crying. Lori reached her han to touch the girls shoulder lightly.
"Are you okay?" Lori asked, trying to comfort the crying child.
The small blonde girl looked up at Lori. Lori nearly screamed when seeing the girls eyes, the thing was, she didn't have any. The child had blood trickling down her face in small streaks.
The girls started to speak, "His name is Freddy Krueger and he loves children, especially little girls. Freddy coming back. Soon he'll be strong enough. Its okay to be afraid. We're your friends were everyone's." The girl said, her voice starting to sound demonic. Lori started backing away until she hit a door. She turned around and saw a brown door, blood starting trickling down the door in large streaks. She opened the door, trying to escape. She opened it and saw she was outside. There was a dirt pathway that went to a little clearing not too far from the door, Trees on each side, and in the clearing was little girls playing jump rope.
"One, two, Freddy's comin' for you, three, four, better lock your door, five , six, grab a crucifix, seven, eight, better stay up late, nine, ten, never sleep again." As soon as the little girls said 'never sleep again' a figure jumped out at her. He had a brown hat, a red and green striped sweater, black pants, boots, monstrous claws that could rip anything to shreds, and his skin was terribly burnt and leathery. This man, even if he was an actual man, was terrifying.
Before the figure could get her, she awoke in the police station, seeing people around. Lori was shaking and felt like crying, "It's only a...bad dream."

Trey sat on the old, wooden swing on his porch with a beer in his hand, taking light sips. His best friend, also Lori's friends boyfriend, David,  had just gotten killed.
Trey's father walked out onto the porch with his son, sitting next to him.
"We need to talk." He spoke to his son, who was completely terrified and sad about his friend's death.
"What were you doing over there? You were supposed to be here, watching your little sister!" His father scolded. Trey looked at his dad with tears prickling at the corners of his eyes.
"My best friend was just killed, dad, so how about givin' me some fucking space, huh?" Trey spoke while wiping his eyes. His father sighed and got up,leaving his son outside to cope. Trey sighed,"Listen, David, if I ever find out who killed you, I swear to God, I'll take 'em out myself!" Trey spoke broken promises to his dead friend who was now either burning in Hell or up in Heaven. Trey heard something in the bushes. He got off the porch and looked around standing in the middle of the road, seeing nothing. He started to go inside until he heard a deep chuckle. Trey turned around and saw a terribly burnt man standing in front of him, he had a green and red striped sweater, black pants, boots, and blades for fingers. Freddy's shadow outstretched and tried attacking him, but failed. Trey looked down at his undamaged torso and started to run back to the safety of his home.
Trey jerked up and, breathing heavily.
"A dream..." Trey sighed and rubbed a hand through this blonde hair. He looked over to his left and saw his Father sitting there, staring off into nothingness. Trey tapped his arm gently. At that sudden gesture his Fathers head fell clean off and into His hands. Trey jumped up quickly, screaming, looking down at his Father's head. Trey threw the head and started to back away until he ran into something. He turned around and saw the dream demon standing there. Freddy stabbed him continuously until Trey didn't move. Freddy let a deep chuckle escape his burnt lips.
"Thought you were gonna take me out?" Freddy asked the corpse, laughing. Freddy looked at his claws and smirked, seeing all the blood and gore satisfied him. They didn't call Freddy the Springwood slasher for nothing.
