After half an hour of walking they then stand in front of the entrance of a mystery dungeon. "So this is what a mystery dungeon looks like" said Naya "well...pretty much I guess, I mean theres like a gajillion different dungeons out there" said Aries. "t-theres more?" said Naya as she gulped from thinking about the different dungeon's. "well lemme tell you how the dungeons work, every dungeons has its own artifact that you can collect but once you've pick them up from their pedestal the dungeon will starts to collapse" he said, "so whats so special about the artifact?" she asked "well the artifact has some sort of magical property on them" he said, "magic? So what you're saying is that these artifacts have powers if we have them?" she said enthusiastically "well kind of like that but you shouldn't wear them tho" he said smirking, "why they make you stronger right?" she asked tilting her head, "well if you see it that way, yeah but most of the time theres always a consequence for activating the artifact" he said, "whats the consequence?" she asked kind of shivering from the thought of it.
"Well I can tell you all about it later but for now, let's go explore it" he said pointing at the entrance, they then enters the dungeon. They were greeted with some rabid pokemon, they kept fighting until they got to the deepest part of the dungeon. When they reached the deepest part of the dungeon they saw a totem with something lodged in the middle part of the totem.
"Huh, the artifact is still in here" said Aries inspecting the totem "artifact?" asked Naya "oh yeah I forgot to tell you that, so in the deepest part of every dungeon there's an artifact that kept the whole dungeon up so if we remove the artifact the dungeon have a chance of breaking down which kinda kills all of the other mons here if they don't got out quick" he said. "o-okay" Naya said as she gulping from thinking about the dungeon collapsing on her "relax, it wouldn't collapse the whole place it's probably gonna only collapse the floors near the deep part the rest should be fine" he said as he pat Naya on the back "oh okay good, cause imma be honest I wouldn't really want to buried alive" she said chuckling from the stress of that thought "so now what?" she asked. "Well...we take the artifact and then we return to the guild because if we submit any kind of artifact that we found in the dungeons we could get some payment to retrieve them" he asked as he tried to pull out the stone that is in the middle of the totem "if I can get this out..." he said as he tried to destroy the stones that was around the stone. "How about if you just pull it gently" she said as she removes the stone easily, when Aries see that she pulled it easily he was speechless but then a loud grumble can be heard they both looks at the stairs where they came from and saw a stone door slowly closing the way to the stairs where they came.
They both made a run for it and they both madeit to get out of the chamber where the door close behind them probably sealinganything behind that door. They both went back to the guild, when they arrivethey saw Carla talking to a darker and a bit miscolored eevee with glasses. "whosthe eevee?" Aries asked "oh! This one of the guy who collected the artifactsyou found in the dungeon, if you have any artifact on you just give it to him"said Carla. Aries then give the artifact he found to the eevee, "huh you founda keystone not really an unknown artifact but it's still an artifact so heresyour payment" he said as he gave Aries a pouch filled with coins. "So what'reyou gonna do with all of those things?" she asked "well most of this will beexperimented but that keystone you two found probably not gonna get submitbecause keystone isn't really something they looking for so im probably gonnakeep it because I kinda start a collection of my own" he said scratching hishead. He then goes out of the guild and out of both of their sight "experimented...whydoes that sound so familiar?" Aries thought to himself.
