I woke to feel the world around me spinning. My head felt like it weighed two tons and I could barely see anything a foot in front of me.
When I swallowed my throat burned and ached from the lack of use. My mouth almost tasting like I had eaten a pound of sand.I groaned falling back against the covers that I was currently lying on. Everything felt so heavy, so cold.
Was I dying? Was I even alive? For a few moments I began to think so, but I had regained some feeling in my hands and feet and that reassured me even if it was the most smallest thing.
I blinked rapidly trying to clear the hazy fog that was still blanketing my vision. The effort had started a pain near my left temple. A pain that radiated from the front of my head to nearly half the way back.
My eyes burned from the pain. "Help" I managed to whisper tears stinging my eyes. "S-someone H-Help" I said with alittle more volume, my voice cracking.
I winced in pain, falling back against the covers. I let out another groan of pain my mind slipping back into the darkness.
I didn't know how long I was out for but when I came too nearly all my senses were working. The dull ache in my head still pulsed beneath the surface but other than that I felt better thatn I did before.
I looked up, my eyes focusing on the ceiling above me. I felt confusion and fear spread through me when I didin’t recognize the normal white ceilings of my room. Instead I was surround by rock that looked like it had been carved out of a mountain side.
I immediately moved to get up, but jerked back when I realized something was holding me down. I glanced up, tilting my head so that I could see my hands. My wirsts were tied to the old rusted railing of the bed that I had been lying on.
I yanked on my bonds trying to see if I could get free. I whimpered when the rope bit into my skin, the rope burning as it rubbed against my skin. The same was with my feet. My legs were spread wide open and my ankles tied to the foot post with a rope similar to the ones binding my wirsts.
Keeping me bared and vulnerable. I felt like a sacrificial lamb awaiting its fate. I was almost completely naked, the only things covering me were my matching panties and bra.
I weakly let my eyes travel over the room. Beside the bed I was lying a small gas lamp burned, giving both light and warmth. But the small light did little to keep the chill from the air.
The air felt thick with mositure, my skin felt almost cold and wet to the touch. I shivered wishing that I wasn't so exposed. Wishing that I could be brave like my father and not be afraid.
There was nothing else to the room. It had one exit and that was a small hollow in the side of the rock, leading out to god knows where.
The sound of footsteps walking down a hallway nearing where I was being held, had me trembling with fear.
When the person came into view I felt my heart plummet. The look on his face had my fate written all over it. I wiggled in my bonds, pushing myself sideways, away from him. Wishing that I could just disappear.
A broken sob left my lips as I shook my head begging him with my eyes not to hurt me as I struggled.
“please” I begged blinding tears slipping down my cheeks. “please don’t do this” I choked, pulling my wrists and feet, trying to get the bonds to come loose.
"Please...you don't have to do this" I sobbed breaking down into helpless sobs when the ropes didn't budge.
He stepped forward coming up to my bedside, something in his hand reflecting the light that burned on the small table beside the bed.
He did not utter a word he just stared. His eyes burning into mine. I screamed as loud as I could when he lunged.
Then everything went black.
