~(y/n)'s pov~

I was sat in the base. Not really doing anything just looking over the footage from this morning. "Anything happened?" Asked Monk causing me to jump a little and almost fall out of my chair.
"Oh hey Monk. I didn't hear you come in. No nothing has happened yet." I said turning my chair around to look at monk.
"So it's pretty quiet then." Monk replied.
"Ye it is, but I wouldn't jinx it because you never know when something happens." I said turning back to the screens.

'I wonder where everyone else is.' I thought while looking at what the time was on one of the other screens. "Wait isn't that Mosako?" I asked looking good St the screen.
"Yes it's Mosako. I'll talk to her." Monk said walking away. 'Well I'm left to man the fort again I see. I could be of some help people. I'm not just a pretty face I can do something.' I thought getting pretty border of waiting. Although my waiting didn't last long.

I looked back at the computer screen and saw monk waking for me to come to where they were. I followed what I was told and walked to the door and turned to look and saw that he was telling me to come quickly so I started to run down the hall.

When I got there I noticed that John and Mai were pushed up into the corner and that the ghost that pulled me down into the well was stood in front of them. "Oh no. Mai, John are you okay!" I shouted from the door. They both nodded at me and then looked at each other.

I couldn't help but feel a little jealous. 'What's going on? Why am I feeling like this? There wouldn't be anything going on between them would there?' I thought to myself.

"Charms." I said randomly.
"What?" Asked Monk.
"We can use charms." I said still looking at the ghost.
"That is possible." Ayako replied. "Then get writing some charms while I stay here and try to distract the ghost." I said still having an intense staring competition with the sprit. "Okay be careful. Monk stay with her. Make sure nothing happens to her." Ayako said running down the hall to the base.

~monk's pov~

I was stood by the door of the lounge with (y/n). She seemed to be having at staring competition. It looked like the ghost was winning. No surprise there though.

I noticed that John and Mai were still pushed up into the corner. I waved to them to come over to me, but the ghost moved which caused (y/n) to move to stay in the spirits way. It seemed to be working.

John and Mai made it over to me and stood with me while (y/n) stayed in front of the ghost. "Is she going to be okay?" Asked john.
"She will be fine. If anything happens we can stop it from happening." I replied looking over to Mai and John. "Monk I have the charms." Said Ayako who ran up to us.
"okay start putting them around the room. Make sure none of the spirits have got out. I'll keep an eye on (y/n)." I replied.
"Okay. John you coming?" Ayako asked.
"No I'll stay and make sure (y/n) is okay." John replied.

I wasn't really surprised considering the fact that he really likes her, but still I'm sure I can handle it. "Are you doing okay?" I asked (y/n).
"Ye I'm good." She replied.
"Is Ayako back with those charms yet." She continued.
"Yes she is back. She is going to place them around the room to keep the ghosts in this room." I replied.
"Okay that is good. I am going to back up to you guys and hope the ghost won't follow okay." (Y/n) said as she started to back up towards us.

The ghosts started to follow but stopped after a few minutes. (Y/n) ended up right next to me.

She still kept the eye contact with the spirit. It looked like she hasn't blinked in days with how red her eyes were. "Get some rest you will need it." John suggested and with that (y/n) backed out of the room and walked down the hall.

Hopefully she went to get some rest while we sat and talked to find a way to cleans the house.

~John's pov~

"Maybe we can use something that would help them to move on." Mai suggested.
"That may work, but that could also back fire and end up getting most of us hurt." Monk replied.
"How about we talk to someone who knows how to do this kind of stuff and see what they say." Said (y/n).

I didn't even realise that she was here until I heard her spoke and by the way the others reacted they didn't know she was there ether. "How long have you been there?" Asked Mai.
"Long enough to hear the conversation. Maybe you should just ask what Naru thinks. See what he says and then go with that if you think it's the right thing to do." (Y/n) replied. "Are you taking a liking to Naru." Mai asked.
"No. It's just a suggestion to see what he does think. Besides, I find that guy way too annoying for me to even begin to like him." (Y/n) replied, which made me a little happy, but a little sad at the same time because I don't know what she thinks of me. I want to ask her, but that may make me sound needy, and I don't want to sound needy.

"Why does this have to be so complicated." I said aloud, not realising that I did until (y/n) replied with.
"Well, if you thought that ghost hunting and exorcising spirits would be an easy job, you are very wrong, and you are in the wrong job."

I watched as she turned on her heal and walked out. 'Now I am beginning to worry that I have done something wrong.' I thought still looking at the door she had just left through.
