Joey—

After hanging out with my brother, Charlotte and I went to my apartment. I let her borrow a pair of my sweatpants and a t-shirt. We quickly changed and settled on my couch.

"Hey, did you mean it? That you think I'll be a good dad?" I asked.

Charlotte smiled, "Of course I meant it. Joey, you're so sweet and kind and loving. With those amazing traits, I could only think that you'll be a good father. You're already such a great uncle."

I leaned over, kissing her cheek.

"I love you so much. I literally thank God for you every day." I whispered.

She smirked, "You're the best thing in my life."

"I love you like the movies." I grinned.

"And I'm not going anywhere." She replied.

"Baby, you're my paradise." I whispered.

"Dear God, I just saw an angel with my own eyes." She giggled.

"You're the one I'm looking for." I smiled.

"You have my heart." She responded.

"I'll even learn cheesy signs." I flirted.

She laughed, "Stop writing such cute lyrics we recite."

I laughed along with her, and wrapped my arms around her, pulling her towards me. She snuggled into my body, and throwing her legs over mine.

"I love you." I mumbled, kissing her forehead.

"I love you too." She yawned.

"Go to sleep, princess."

I stumbled into the kitchen, seeing Charlotte dancing to music. That's one thing I loved about her. She was always so positive.

Quietly, I dragged myself over to her. I wrapped my arms around her waist, and laid my head against her shoulder.

"Good morning, baby." She giggled.

"Morning." I mumbled.

Charlotte knew I wasn't a morning person, however, she was. I didn't know how that works.

"You hungry?" She asked, "I made some breakfast, and coffee."

"Thank you." I smiled.

"You're welcome. Don't forget we're going out tonight with everyone else." She stated.

"For what?" I questioned.

Charlotte snickered, and turned in my arms. She smiled, kissing my cheek.

"Happy birthday!" She grinned, "How'd you forget your 26th birthday?"

I shrugged, "I dunno. None of that matters when I'm with you. Nothing material matters, because I have you. I could have nothing, but you in my arms and I'd be the happiest man on earth."

"Awh. Joey, that's so sweet. I love you." She smiled.

"Charlotte Mae, you have idea how serious I'm being. You've shown me a different side to life. You're constantly in my head. I always question what I did to deserve you, because any man would be lucky to have you by their side, yet you're with me. God gave me you, that's why I call you my angel."

"Joseph Patrick," she laughed, "Listen to me, baby. God obviously has some sort of plan for us. You're so sweet, and fun, and just amazing in general. You wanna know what I love most about you?"

"Sure." I replied.

"I love that you have this amazing personality and that you're honoring God. You're being a leader, you're leading the broken to be healed." She smiled.

"Charlotte, I love you so much." I whispered.

"I love you too." She replied, "Now. You need to eat and get ready, so we can go to church."

I smirked and reached behind her, grabbing a piece of toast. I bit into it and gave her a cheesy smile.

"Yes ma'am." I mumbled, kissing her cheek.

I turned around, reaching into another cabinet for a coffee mug.

"And don't talk with food in your mouth. It's gross and disrespectful." She muttered.

After eating, and getting dressed, we left for church. Somehow, Charlotte had clothes at my apartment. I probably had clothes at her house.

I had our hands together as we went to go meet up with our group. Our day was completely packed.

It was homemade breakfast this morning, then go to church. Then we were heading to Charlotte's house for lunch with her family and so she could give me a gift she bought. We have a few hours after that, then we were hanging out with friends at dinner. Like I said; our day was packed.

"Uncle Joey!" AJ squealed.

I let go of Charlotte's hand, and knelt down as AJ ran to me. I smiled, picking her up and standing up.

"Hey, little one." I smiled.

"Daddy says it's your birthday." She giggled, "He also said that your old."

Charlotte snickered. I simply glared at Alan.

"As if you have any room to talk, Richard." I scoffed.

"Hi aunt Charlie." AJ grinned.

"Hi there, princess." Charlotte smiled, kissing AJ's cheek.

Yeah. She'd definitely be a good mother.

Soon enough, Presley was running to me as well and attached herself to my leg.

"Happy birthday, Joey." Brycie smiled.

"Thanks."

Rowe began reaching out for Charlotte. It was safe to say that the girls adored Charlotte. She's been in Presley and Rowe's entire life.

Alan smirked at me, "Man. Y'all better get married fast and have some kids."

Charlotte laughed as she placed her free hand on my back. "As much as I love kids, I think we're gonna wait a couple years."

Soon enough, the rest of the group was coming over. Caleb, Kelsey, Chad, Fallon and Spencer.

"Looks like Joe's the jungle gym this week." Caleb joked, "In a few years, you'll have another one to climb on you."

Kelsey rolled her eyes at Caleb. She shook her head, "Anyway, how y'alls date last night?"

I groaned, "We're not doing that again."

"Let's just say that it was really awkward. Sophia was flirting with Joey, and Brayden was asking too many questions about me." Charlotte explained.

Fallon nodded, "Yeah. That's definitely a deal breaker."

I grinned at Charlotte, "At least I've still got my fiancée."
