On halloween night the hunters become the hunted, demons, gouls, and ghosts! Vampires, zombies, and wherewolves! The creatures come out to play, at least, thats is what we believe.

It is not, and will never be, that simple. On halloween it becomes the easiest time to kill, don't you think?

People wander around in the dark, going door to door, masks are warn and people have fake blood and decorations of dead things every where. People never really think about that do they?

This is the story of a brother and sister named Alex and Eden, and how they died on Halloween night.

Alex was 14 at the time, Eden was 8. Eden had always been small for her age she looked younger then she was, she was going as an astronaut. Alex was thin and tall, he was going as a magician.

They lived in a quiet neighborhood with a small forest near by, Alex was taking his sister trick or treating as per normal. It was around 20:00 (8pm) and it was dark outside. The siblings were walking near the forest area when Alex noticed something. A man getting stabbed.

Eden noticed Alex's shock," Alex? What is it?"

Eden looked over to what Alex was watching. They were silent for a moment before Eden shakily asked.

"B-brother...what is that...?"

Alex noticed Eden's discomfort," It's okay Eden, it's probably a prank by one of the neighbors, it is Halloween after all!"

"O-oh!! Right!" Eden laughed happily before saying," it was really realistic! Thats so cool!"

Alex was still feeling uneasy but his self-rationalization calmed him down a bit, though he still had a bad feeling.

"Eden, I think we should go home now,"

"Aww!! Lets stay out longer! We still haven't checked the house with the stabber effect!" Eden complained as she pointed to the house hidden in the trees where they had watched the 'fake' stabbing.

"No Eden we should go home!"

The siblings bicker for a while as siblings do, what they failed to notice was the the stabber had dragged away the corpse out of sight. Alex and Eden died that night just like that un-named corpse, so I'm sure you know who won the argument correct?

As Alex and Eden were walking towards the door in the forest area they noticed few decorations, a pumpkin here a fake spider web there, the usual. The one noticeable decoration was a life sized corpse body bag dangling for a tree branch. It made the pair shiver.

Eden knocked.

Light poured on them as a giant man soaked in blood answered the door, at first he seemed mad but he noticed that the siblings were tricker treating he grinned.

"Oh hello! What lovely costume, you must be tricker treaters!" His voice sounded horse and deep, Alex was deeply unsettled by it. Eden was oblivious.

"Yes! Please give us some candy!!" She happily exclaimed

"Of corse, of your costumes look so nice~" The man purred, "I know, I have some special cakes I just finished baking, let me give you some, one second!"

The man closed the door to search for his cakes, he came back quickly with two tea cakes, handing one to each sibling with a smile.

"Yay!! Thanks!" Eden cheered

Alex appeared visibly restless but let out a quick," thank you."

The man just smiled as he watched Eden cram the cake into her mouth. Eden suddenly appeared confused then in pain as she started coughing up blood she fell to the floor. Alex rushed to her side, the man seemed calm at first but his expression quickly changed to one of worry.

"Oh no!! She might have been allergic to something in the cake! Come inside while I call the police!" The man expressed before roughly picking up little Eden's body and bringing her inside the house. Alex followed closely with a worried expression.

The man lay her down on a couch and turning to Alex.

"Im going to go call for help, I'm sure she will be fine, stay with her, maybe eat a cake to calm down." The man was eerily calm as he left the room.

Alex found this very strange he was worried about his sister and watched over her face.

That man is right I'm sure she will be okay, I need to calm down. She. Will. Be. Okay.

Alex though as he held on to the cake. He looked down at it and felt it was very suspicious, he broke it opened.

A razor.

There was a razor in the cake.

Realization hit Alex in waves as he realized the magnitude of the current situation.

"Did you like my cake?"

Alex and Eden dies that night. Halloween really is the scariest time of the year, when the hunters become the hunted. Have a safe fun night, and remember: Humans are the most evil of all
