Sheila sat silently, watching, always calculating. She watched as four rabbits were hunted and killed one by one. She did not know sympathy. She does not understand what emotions are.

Sheila sat in the tree, observing her surroundings. This is what she has done for most her life, watching her surroundings, she observes and learn, that's how she survived in the harsh woods of Death Forest. Looking at the red sky, she estimated that only 2 hours remained till it was nightfall. Preparing herself to jump, she froze in her path as she heard voices.

Voices in the Death Forest was a rare thing indeed, since no man dares to venture into such a land. Thinking it was a great opportunity to learn something, she held her ground and waited for the intruders to walk past.

"Lilac, you okay ? Hold on just a bit longer, there should be a lake somewhere. Hold on a bit more, there'll soon be water. Just hold on!" Said a male voice.

"Common Lilac, just a bit more" encouraged a different voice.

Looking down at the scene, Sheila could make out a young man, a boy and one girl. The girl looked to be on the verge of death with all that flowing blood. Sheila reckons she was a goner.

Sheila watched as the man and boy place the girl down by a tree and left to find water. Looking at the sleeping girl, Sheila jumped from where she was sitting in the tree moving forward to take a closer look. Judging from the girl's clothes, she was a noble around Sheila's age.

Hearing branches being stepped on Sheila quickly turned around to find a sword pointed at her neck and a gun aimed at her forehead.

"Who are you? Step away from her now!" Demanded the boy who pointed a gun at her. He looked to also be a noble, while the other man stood quietly watching her, sword unwavering. A body guard perhaps?

Sheila moved away from the body, her facial expression showed no fear. Her calculating eyes stared at them coldly, she spoke.

"My name is Sheila"

She watched them in turn, their weapons still in her direction, they looked at her in confusion as to her short reply. She turned and walked away.

"Wait!" the boy cried out.

Sheila stopped, her back still facing them.

"Do you know where we can find water?" asks the boy.

Sheila pointed North, "Go straight that way and you will find yourselves at the Howling Waterfall."

Sheila walked away, seeing no point in staying there any longer. Sheila saw no reasons as why she should help strangers however she wanted to see how long they could last in such a forest.

Sheila arrived in a clearing, the animals watched her. Hearing a growl behind her, she turned to find herself facing two large silver wolves. They looked at her, their eyes showed the same calculations in her eyes. They growled again.

Sheila looks at them. "Don't worry, I doubt those humans can hurt anyone here, they are too weak to survive"

They growled in turn, to Sheila she knew they agreed with her. They walked past her to the shady area under a tree. They stood there waiting for her.

"I'm coming" she said before lying down beside them before falling asleep.

Waking up in the morning, Sheila untangled herself from the two wolves. Sheila looked around the clearing, us shown down through gaps in the trees, birds, foxes and all loving creatures there slept peacefully. Walking out of the clearing quietly, she tried not to disturb the creatures. Though she doubts that her footstep were heavy at all since she was used to walking silently.
